The rental location was great - nice, helpful people. The communication from Customer Service however was horrible! I found out on the morning of vehicle pick up that my vehicle had broken down. I found this out by accident when I called in to verify the address of the pickup location. The agent told me at that time that my vehicle would not be available and that a voicemail had been left for me prior to pickup time. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY MESSAGE! I only have one telephone (my cell) and it is with me 24/7 - I can guarantee that I never received any warning of this. Luckily, another vehicle was found for me nearby and a major crisis was averted. I was moving and could not have rescheduled my move! The rep that gave me the news when I called in was not very receptive either. I was asking some direct questions about pickup location, communication, etc., nicely, but all he kept repeating is "there is another truck and that's all we have..." I was certainly happy with the outcome, and the pickup location staff were great but, as I said, the communication and level of support at the rep level was not satisfactory at all.

I rented a trailer and when i picked up the electric was not working , I played around with it and got it to work then while driving home in the dark all the lights went out , I managed to get it home very dangerously and thankfully i'm mechanical inclined . I traced the problem with my voltage tester to two broken wires in the trailer wire harness , I had to go to the store and buy a new harness and rewire the trailer I'm not impressed that i had to do this but I had to catch a ferry the next morning so I had no choice . I told the renters but they didn't seem to care . I won't be renting from U-haul again

BRUCE YThe U Haul representative did not know how to guide a U Haul truck back, and waited for me to hook up the trailer, then he took a picture. I had a tire blow out during my trip, a couple Proper Inspection of the equipment should have been done by the dealer.
