Highly disappointed with this U-Haul experience. I was notified by email only that the pick up location had been changed. We had to drive 45 minutes each way to pick up the U-Haul and everyone knows how stressful it is already to move out/move in. It added a lot of time and money (for gas for both vehicles) to an already busy day. Service at that location wasn’t the friendliest either and we had to wait for quite some time because another customer was checking on her numerous lottery tickets.

Michael LThe vehicle had (apparently) sat in situ and unused for quite a period of time. There were significant layers of dust and pollen clouding the exterior windows and mirrors. The cab interior was reasonably clean as was the interior of the van box. I would only recommend this location to a friend if it was convenient for them. As it was, we had to travel a significant number of kilometers to pick the unit up as all other outlets did not have a suitable sized unit available.
Lorne FI was given incorrect information multiple times an dealer was unable to answer basic questions. There was a lock on the back door handle but it could not be removed/used for the latch because the dealer did not have a key. No other options were provided. The dealer also told me I would receive a partial refund because I was charged for a three day rental but only needed the van for two days. This was not the case.
