Personnel was friendly but made no effort to help downloaded the equipment and had me place the trailer and truck in tight locations
Jeffrey MJust have a question here about my rental, when I originally rented it, I had chosen a location that was closest to my destination. I even confirmed this on the phone with a representative. I was then contacted a few days later stating that no location near where I needed to be had an auto transport, I was then told that not even a tow dolly was anywhere close either. This added time to my trip, I was also told at the pickup location that my account was suspended and I had to call u haul again for a 3rd time now. When I called and spoke to the representative I was told that I had no issues with my account and my balance was 0. Another issue I had was when I originally rented I choose no insurance but somehow it was added on to the rental, I would like some of this rectified. Also it wanted to mention the tow straps both loosened twice on the trip and I had to constantly check the straps.
Robert DI was told two different things by two different U-Haul reps. prior to picking up the truck. I picked up the vehicle on the 24th of March and returned it on the 25th at 4:49pm, and the location had already closed early despite the door clearly stating 5pm was the closing time. I dropped the keys into the key drop and called the U-Haul customer service department to report the location closing early while I was trying to drop off the truck. The rep. told me I would receive a email from the Rockfish location on Wednesday when they returned to reopen. Since I was moving I did not have an opportunity to open the email and read it clearly. Once I was able to open the email I called the U-Haul customer service number immediately to confirm what I was told since it was clearly two different forms of information and the representative advised me that I would have to wait 3 days for a supervisor to pull the calls and call me back to speak with me in reference to the dispute.
