Terrible experience with this U-Haul pickup. We scheduled for a different location much closer to the destination and were never told that the location was moved. After receiving some very rude service at the Capital Boulevard location, we had to go to Avent Ferry to an unmarked U-Haul location in a shopping center. The location did not have the pre-ordered blankets that were needed for the move and there was no attempt to rectify. The truck had less than a quarter of a tank of gas, the mats were covered in mud and the doors did not close all of the way. Avent Ferry employee was nice to work with, but was put in a very bad position.

First, I like Uhaul. The location was convenient and above average. The vehicle that I received was not clean and had some mechanical issues. The air conditioner only worked if you blasted it on its highest setting otherwise the vehicle would get warm really quickly. When I brought the vehicle home and looked in the back, there was trash in the back. There was leaves a little bit of trash, including a used condom. That was gross. Nothing that could not be swept out beforehand. Otherwise, the location and customer service or above average and the vehicle was OK.

Charles SFirst, fulfill the requests. I reserved a Model 10 truck with a utility dolly. To my surprise, the person at the store told me that the truck did not have a platform, but they did have one and could rent it to me. In fact, I rented it due to my obvious needs. Second, the truck smelled bad and there was trash in the passenger door.
