My first issue was that the pickup location was 40 minutes away from my home, when numerous other U-haul facilities are much closer. To make it much worse though, when I arrived at the specfied pickup location, my trailer wasn't there. The agent at that location said "we've had a lot of things stolen from here". Amazing. On the positive side, U-haul fixed the problem quickly and made a trailer available to me at the location closest to my home. By the time I got there, the trailer was ready. I'm sure this made a problem for the customer who had reserved it, but it got me on my way. The folks at the PCH and Hawthorne facility in Torrance were very good and very helpful.

Explain to customers how going over the 20miles limit charge is acceptable when the company can map out the distance of one location to the other.

Ubox arrived at destination over 10 days late. Manager still not willing to honor the $50.00 refund per day as stated on the contract. I will not be recommending this service to anyone that is considering moving.

I filled out all the stuff to prepare me for pick up. And when I got there to pick up the truck I had to do it again, lD,card and all maybe you need to just let the customer do it in the building. I understand it's for a reservation but maybe not everything should be ask for.. just saying.

Customer service is horrible. We arrived to pick up our truck. Drove up to see the General Manager outside on his phone with slippers on. We asked where to park to pickup the rental and his reply was "what" . I guess we interrupted his conversation. Walked in said good morning and no reply just a semi smile from the young lady at the first desk. Noone said we will be right with you or anything so we just stood there. After the second young lady returned she helped us and apologized for the rudeness.Greeting customers is important. This location really need to work on their customer service skills starting with management.
