It was a long process to rent the trailer. I was not informed we needed a 2” ball for towing, thankfully the office has a loner. The trailer was pretty beat up which is fine but when texted the confirmation to go over the condition the trailer in the pictures looked brand new so I had to spend additional time taking pictures of every single dent, ding, scratch etc and upload them so that it didn’t look like we brought back a badly damaged trailer. The person who helped me with the pick up could not explain to me how the additional insurance worked which made me apprehensive to purchase it but I did to be safe. The return was much quicker and I did mention that they should make sure that the pictures provided were updated so someone else who may not catch it doesn’t get punished for damage they didn’t do.

I did not have all the equipment I had paid for, the new guy was trying his best but wasn't getting much help either but I understand that it's a job and everyone should pull their own weight but still my things weren't secured until a second worker had came and secured it, I was also charged $10.22 for a dolly I never recieved.

The truck passenger door/window rattled so loudly it gave me a headache. Tried everything, rolling window up and down, slamming door, nothing worked. If this truck gets rented out for a long haul, you will have some very unhappy customers. The rest of the rental experience was good though.

returning the van was awful I was boxed in between an empty truck, with empty space in front of it and between the return cleaning island, another truck with trailer attached coming in to return also blocking the driveway to the right and on my left were TWO more UHauls being returned w/drivers with block the Cypress driveway. Where was the STAFF? Good question. I got out of van to go inside and no kidding there was a line from counter to door and only ONE person. He told me just leave keys in van and he check the van later (that explained the empty truck in front of me). BUT as I left I felt bad for the drivers also trying to return Trucks, trailer cause now they had TWO empty return vehicles in front of them. But really there was no where to go, escape the return orange jam up. Luckly I parked my car earlier when I pick up van at far back exit driveway was able to leave myself and no longer physically trap. Again where was on the staff on a Sunday afternoon at 2:42 pm??

Always look for the best deal for the customer's move. Or maybe give them options to choose from, depending on their needs.



My low rating is only partially related to the location. The other culprit is your program and the added inconvenience of the after hours check in process and the new late fees. 1st issue was a very long wait to get the original trailer pick up. even though we had a reservation, we waited 45 minutes in a short line before we got to the front counter. (a couple in front of us walked away, angry and exasperated with the delay, 10 minutes before I reached the counter. I don't know how long they had been there.) Once at the counter, the rep was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. The shop is well maintained, the equipment is clean and performed its function without a problem. But trying to return the equipment before work hours was a nightmare. I arrived early; 7:30am. Shop doesn't open til 9am. Tried several times to work the application on the phone to check in the trailer. Was not able to successfully. (Program could not find my location. I confirmed that my iphone was enabling the 'share my location' feature. Still no success with program.) From the Uhaul lot, I called your customer service. After several minutes trying to figure out the phone computer maze, I was finally talking to a real person. She spoke to me for a few minutes before sending me to another department. I was on hold for over 20 minutes, listening to the same 2 messages 40 times, before I finally hang up and went home to take care of my family. This was an hour after I arrived. Later in the day; 11am, I called to confirm the shop had checked in the trailer. They had not and I was charged the additional $20 for not using the software check in. On this rental, Uhaul took a stressful week-end and made it much worse. That is not my usual experience with Uhaul.

I reserved the equipment for 7am, and we needed to leave town at 12 noon. I had to talk multiple times to uhaul corporate in order to change the time. I was also made aware that the auto transport may not be available. If the customer reserves the equipment for a specific time ALL of it needs to be ready. It worked out okay, but was extremely frustrating to deal with
