Definitely the most poor service I've experienced as a customer. Perhaps not at the fault of the store clerk, but he did not have the key ready for me to pickup this morning. He could not find the correct key, and I was not able to pick up my rental vehicle of choice both on time, or at all. The key he had marked for my requested vehicle would not open said vehicle. To make things worse, it was 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time until he was able to share that information with me. Mainly because he was tending to all other market customers first (all of whom arrived to the store after me). Communication was difficult as he was not patient with me at all while I was trying to troubleshoot with U Haul cust. service rep to help the issue. The clerk actually scolded me to both help his business computer/system problems, and also telling me "you waste your time talking to her, come let me do booking and you can go, you waste your time". He told me two conflicting duties, 1.) He had Internet Explorer issues/error and could not solve to cancel my first booking, so he insisted I should try and book another vehicle through my phone since it's faster, and 2.) He told me I should've let him book the new vehicle instead while he was using Google Chrome. (While booking my 2nd vehicle, he could not see it in his web system. So a 3rd and final vehicle booking was needed). So for the 1 hour that I was waiting for my initial requested car, UHaul cust. service rep could not help me cancel my initial booking, could not assist me or the store clerk to activate my second booking, and the store clerk had me behind the front desk troubleshooting and speaking on his land line. After the store clerk took my credit card for the 3rd time, I finally got a vehicle, larger than I wanted, but not only was i NOT reassured that I would receive a refund for my first 2 submissions, the UHal Cust. Service rep would not waive the extra surcharge that incurs with renting a larger vehicle. I can understand she mentioned her manager is not working, but I expected a well known brand like UHaul would be able to provide that simple level of customer retention service for an inconvenience like this. I was even asked to call them back to inquire for refunds, rather than the company calling back to their customer. The first inconvenience of not having a key may not be all to blame to the store clerk, but I hope my upcoming interactions with UHaul representatives moving forward can retain their brand reputation after the unexpected experience that I've had today...

Absolutely unprofessional and not courteous at all. Inaccurate mileage to begin with, forcing a return to location and losing 8 km of driving unnecessarily as no help over the phone. Though an agent for uhaul they should be as professional and on top of things as a corporate location. Really bad experience.

The location, Raibow Market was filthy, the operator hardly spoke English and didn't seem to know the routine. In total between reserving and picking up the van took almost an hour. The van was almost new and in good shape.

I cleaned out the truck myself, not a big deal. Cannot comment on any vehicle maintenance, other than visually the vehicle appears operable. Problem with cleanlinnes is that the inspection has to be done at the end of every rental by the store manager, who is usually very busy with other Customers in the store. Luke Lu is pretty sharp and quite adept at handling the U-Haul truck rental computerized form. He just could use an assistant during the busy times, as often has Customers waiting. And we all know that no Customer likes waiting! Luke is just one man, so could use some help at times!

I had very big trouble/ problem with pick-up time and location, because U-haul decided the time and location differently from what I made reservation. I wasted my time by calling and waiting to talk to the manager of U-haul and stuff.. It was very much unpleasant experience I'd ever had. Luckily, a person in new pick-up location was helpful and kind. So I love the location to pick-up, but NOT U-HAUL!

The person handling this location has no Idea how u-haul rentals operate or how the POS system works and has very poor communication skills. Also worth noting, despite this location showing as the closest in distance to where I was calling from, it took me an hour and a half to get there by public transportation, while another location -which I passed by when driving back on the truck and had dozens of trucks parked outside - was 20 minutes away. You really should take the particularities of each city into account, not everywhere is Kansas

The store owner was very friendly. He was alone in the store which made checking the vehicle difficult. The store could be a bit more tidy. At the same time, the person on duty was very friendly and appreciative of the vehicle being dropped off. Perhaps there could be a warning that this site has very limited parking, especially for larger vehicles.

If it were possible, I would give this place minus stars. After arranging a uHaul months in advance for a long distance move, we were told last minute there was no truck at our specified location. We were redirected to Cambie road in Richmond. Initially, the customer service was so poor and we were given a used form to fill out. The representative spoke very limited English and was not able to tell us the regulations and the whole transaction was rushed. I had already made the reservation online and was quoted double what it said online. We were told we could drop the truck off at our destination however when we attempted to do so we were told we had signed a contract to bring the truck back to where we got it. We did not appreciate being misled. When we dropped the truck off we left our wallet in the front console. We called to inquire about it and were put on hold for 20 minutes to be told they looked everywhere for the wallet and it was nowhere to be found. We told them we would like to come look for it ourselves and were told the truck was not reserved for the night and we could come back anytime. Then they called us on our way and said they had found a new customer for the uhaul and could we get there asap. When we got there the wallet was exactly where we had asked them to look over the phone. Overall we were extremely dissatisfied with our customer service, the poor communication, and misleading actions of the vendors. Would 100% not rent a uhaul from this place again.

I made a reservation two weeks before pick up, and the truck was not returned, so I had to come to this location. This review is a sham, since my issue is with the Uhaul system overall and not with a specific location. This happens to us every time we rent a truck. Either the truck is not available, or it's only available at another location in a completely different city. If you need to have a truck at a specific location, DO NOT RENT FROM UHAUL.

poor service, dirty car. I was told the fuel tank is full and it was not. He didn't even come out to check for himself. He asked me to go out and take pictures of the fuel gauge. I came in and showed it to him and he disagreed and sent me out again telling me to switch ON the car and and take another picture. He didn't even come out to do a walk around with me. Sure I will rent Uhaul but definitely NOT from this location.

The customer service at this location was awful, i had got in touch with the customer service number of uhaul too. Right from the pickup the guys working there did not seem to be helpful at all and then was neglecting us and made us wait even though our booking time had started. And then he didn’t know the code to the padlock and he told us to figure it out on our own, luckily for us a customer came who told him to check his phone and the code should be in his email, then once we had left thelocation he called my phone up and threatened me to come back or he will call the police, at that point i got in touch with uhaul customer service representative again and she told me everything looks good on her end, then when on our way back from our storage we decided to stop by the shop before we dropped our stuff home to see what was the matter. At that point the person working there goes ahead and calls me and my friend stupid and idiot in shop full of people, asks me to hand over the keys and my license and credit card to him. I gave them all the things he asked for and then he tries to put another transaction on my account, and pull up the notifications on my phone pertaining to the transaction that had already taken place before when we had picked up the truck. At that point he didn’t hand over the keys to us for over 20 mins wasting our time what we had paid for also the humiliation we had to go through. At that point i got in touch with uhaul customer service rep again and told what had happend and she had scheduled an phone call with the supervisor for me the following day which didn’t happen. The next day when we went to drop the truck, we were ignored and our time was wasted then too and there was also a problem of them over charging the mileage which has also been reported with supporting evidence. All in all would never recommend this location to anyone, have used uhaul and their services many times before but this has to be worst experience of my life dealing with a rental.
