I had to wait almost an hour before I got the keys. I lost my movers in the meantime. Apparently the computers were down? Not my problem. There should be some type of contingency plan in place for such a thing. The man at the location was surly and rude. This was the worst experience and it cost me $100 with not having my movers available as I was over an hour late. I called and the lady at U-Haul transferred me to a customer. The second time I called, I was offered extra time on my rental. I only needed a couple hours but rented for 6 just so I didn’t have to return right away. None of this matters as it costs the same for 24 hours! None of this matters as the move was booked for a certain time. Not an apology or offer of compensation. Pathetic

The car was not clean at all. The water tank for cleaning the front window was empty. The dolly’s wheel were also very dirty and made a mess in our new home. The check in also took very long as the person prefers to give priority to his own customers.

The owner of the shop is very efficient and friendly. I often use the U-hauls from there when I am buying major furniture pieces and I once lost my phone during the Up and down movement. He kept it safe for me and returned it to me next time I saw him.

Very unfriendly service. The guy asks you to go take a picture of the odometer and come back and show it to him instead of just coming on out with the customer. He also cheats customers with the gas fuel gauge. It was a bit below a quarter full. I fueled it up to the same level but he insisted it is lower than before and charged me extra. Definitely do not recommend this place at all.

The truck was technically good, but quite dirty, both cabin and cargo section. A person who manages the rental office is also responsible for the large shop. Pick-up process is constantly interrupted by occasional customers who enter the shop to buy morning cigarets. I entered the shop/office at 8:05 AM and was able to leave only at 8:25 AM, having cut my rent time by a half of an hour. My initial plan was to use mobile pickup and don't interact with anybody, but I had to go to the office because the mobile app did not allow me to proceed with picking up the truck and always failed at the step of uploading driver's photo. Additionally, before 8:00 AM the mobile app even did not allow me to start the pickup process stating the equipment was not reserved for my order and suggesting to call Customer Support.

Major issues with the pick up process. Clerk had no technical skills for troubleshooting any issues with the system. Clerk asked me to contact the Uhaul Head office to try to get the system working.

Definitely the most poor service I've experienced as a customer. Perhaps not at the fault of the store clerk, but he did not have the key ready for me to pickup this morning. He could not find the correct key, and I was not able to pick up my rental vehicle of choice both on time, or at all. The key he had marked for my requested vehicle would not open said vehicle. To make things worse, it was 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time until he was able to share that information with me. Mainly because he was tending to all other market customers first (all of whom arrived to the store after me). Communication was difficult as he was not patient with me at all while I was trying to troubleshoot with U Haul cust. service rep to help the issue. The clerk actually scolded me to both help his business computer/system problems, and also telling me "you waste your time talking to her, come let me do booking and you can go, you waste your time". He told me two conflicting duties, 1.) He had Internet Explorer issues/error and could not solve to cancel my first booking, so he insisted I should try and book another vehicle through my phone since it's faster, and 2.) He told me I should've let him book the new vehicle instead while he was using Google Chrome. (While booking my 2nd vehicle, he could not see it in his web system. So a 3rd and final vehicle booking was needed). So for the 1 hour that I was waiting for my initial requested car, UHaul cust. service rep could not help me cancel my initial booking, could not assist me or the store clerk to activate my second booking, and the store clerk had me behind the front desk troubleshooting and speaking on his land line. After the store clerk took my credit card for the 3rd time, I finally got a vehicle, larger than I wanted, but not only was i NOT reassured that I would receive a refund for my first 2 submissions, the UHal Cust. Service rep would not waive the extra surcharge that incurs with renting a larger vehicle. I can understand she mentioned her manager is not working, but I expected a well known brand like UHaul would be able to provide that simple level of customer retention service for an inconvenience like this. I was even asked to call them back to inquire for refunds, rather than the company calling back to their customer. The first inconvenience of not having a key may not be all to blame to the store clerk, but I hope my upcoming interactions with UHaul representatives moving forward can retain their brand reputation after the unexpected experience that I've had today...

Absolutely unprofessional and not courteous at all. Inaccurate mileage to begin with, forcing a return to location and losing 8 km of driving unnecessarily as no help over the phone. Though an agent for uhaul they should be as professional and on top of things as a corporate location. Really bad experience.

The location, Raibow Market was filthy, the operator hardly spoke English and didn't seem to know the routine. In total between reserving and picking up the van took almost an hour. The van was almost new and in good shape.

I cleaned out the truck myself, not a big deal. Cannot comment on any vehicle maintenance, other than visually the vehicle appears operable. Problem with cleanlinnes is that the inspection has to be done at the end of every rental by the store manager, who is usually very busy with other Customers in the store. Luke Lu is pretty sharp and quite adept at handling the U-Haul truck rental computerized form. He just could use an assistant during the busy times, as often has Customers waiting. And we all know that no Customer likes waiting! Luke is just one man, so could use some help at times!
