Ensure that the equipment is clean for the next user. The truck was completely covered in cement dust or construction dust from the previous renter. I had to wipe down the entire interior with a cloth to not have my clothing and hands all dirty. Also, the flatbed was riddled with screws, dirt, cement chunks and water.

Maybe give the employees more flexibility and assessment training; more power to make decisions that will ultimately create a more positive experience. I rented a VAN for three days. I brought it back a day early.. or so I thought.. i was TWO hours into the next day and had to be charged the full three day rental when i actually only used it for two days.. i know technically i should have been better at watching the time and i was past the deadline for Two day rental.. but it was obvious that i would not be having it for the full three days.. so some flexibility in the charges needs to be an option available for the employee to choose. Something like: "yes Sir you are technically on the hook for three days, but what we can do for you is just charge you for half a day... " or give a token discount even $20 will go a long way to easing the bad taste in the mouth after leaving and paying for a full day that was never used!!

It's been almost 4 months now and over 9 hours of running around and I still do not have my deposit back. I was told on 2 occasions my check would 100% be ready for me to pick up so I took my 3 year old on the 3 hour transit journey to get to my drop off location to pick it up and both times I was not only told no my cheque isn't there but apparently they are a totally different thing then Uhaul because you have to call their location to get anything with them and can't just call the head office to set up getting your things. The manager Lynn Puersten is literally the worst employee I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with since she doesn't understand she works for Uhaul and it's one company so if I call head office to have a request put threw and am promised it was done she should have had it done or even just looked at her requests from head office. It is the most poorly run Uhaul I have ever been too and ive been to some bad ones since I've rented with Uhaul on 6 occasions now. I'm livid and about to get my lawyer involved over $60 -_- this is ridiculous.

Best and easiest experience I have ever had! The manager/boss of the Richmond U-Haul is such an excellent and professional employee! So quick and so easy. Promised me the 15’ truck would be there at 7am, and sure enough it was. Thank you so much for helping me on this very stressful day!!!!

Well Ms. Lin was very abrupt and rude while i tried to discuss the charges done to my CC at the Shell rd Richmond Uhaul. When i was renting the van, i was never told to return the van by 7pm inorder to prevent the next day. When i said this to her she blamed me for not reading the contract. She overcharged for one extra day whereas i didnt use it for a day and returned it by 8pm. I have done business with UHaul quite a number of times and i know these kinds of things are pretty flexible but this is the 1st bad customer service i experienced. I might not be coming back to Uhaul again. Thank you

Windshield was dirty, inside and out. I cleaned the drivers side as it was hard to see into the early morning sun. Box of the truck had not been swept out. No big deal, just letting you know:)

They ripped me off! I rented a 10' truck for drop off overnight totalling 10 hours use, but they charged me for 2 days because I did not return it before closing time that same day. I also took the safemove $15 daily fee and they charged me for 2 days of safemove as well. I am disputing these charges.

I live in Delta and reserved to pick up the truck at Delta, i suppose to pick up in the morning and i received a call telling me you have no trucks for me, few hours later i got a call told me you have a truck at 4pm, fine, i ll take it. When i check the text message, i have to pick up at Richmond instead of Delta. God, this is my only day off i have no choice but taking it. Eventually i move until 11pm and had to drive all the way back to Richmond for returning. I was wondering if that is related to my short driving distance if i pick up at Delta, so i was sent to Richmond

This Har nothing to do with the location. Service at the location was great. Uhaul overall customer experience is terrible. We reserve the truck with a month in advance for Saturday morning, still we were told the truck wiulb only available at 6pm. We were able to get it at 3pm because we complained 6pm was too late. We had everything reserved for 9am, getting it at 3 was still troublesome. Then my we were told the car will be available at a Richmond location, far way from were we used to live and not at all close to our preferred location. Making us lose even more time and adding kilometer cost to out reserve. We tried calling customer service, but after 10 min waiting nobody answered and we have up. After all we had already wasted too much time. Terrible customer experience, wouldn't recommend to my enemy.
