I have no idea of this location's qualities, because I wasn't doing the drop off, but we were not able to use drop-off location we told to use; therefore this is kind of problem that makes me want to score zero (0) on the entire u-haul experience. I'm NOT happy with this. (I'm selecting NO on the 3 questions because the survey is forcing me to answer questions that I did not witness -- which itself is amazingly stupid)
Randy CThe U-Haul location is in an industrial area of the city and the desk is located in a warehouse building with many boxes piled up inside. No attendant at the desk - others (maybe from other businesses at the location?) had to find the guy to help me. No formal paperwork/return process, just took the keys and said thank you. The account was closed out properly and I received the receipt online so no issues there.
ANDREW PI contacted the attendant to ask for a later pick-up and they were very accomodating. They were well informed, answered all my questions and were friendly and respectful!
Depinder MSeems like a ghost drop location. We phoned the number listed to let them know we were in Richmond-no answer, so left a message. Got there at the pre scheduled time to find the gate locked with a few folks looking around confused. We joined them. Phoned again to no answer and left a message. And, again. And, again. Saw the gate lock was broken so found a way to ring the bell. No answer.. Finally decided to drop the key and head out. Called one last time to explain, leave my number and ask for a call back. Never heard back. Phoned the UHaul number and was told to wait for billing. Received the bill to find they added TWO EXTRA DAYS to the bill since it took the that long to finally process the return. I am now waiting for a refund. The Bainbridge folks spoiled be, but the GVA treatment seemed well below par.
