Smooth drop off. I called ahead because I was dropping a day early. All was good after a quick inspection of equipment and I was on my way.
Andy CMy order was for 10:00 am and the location did not open until 12:00 noon. There was a truck parked outside the gate and since I thought it was set up as an on line check out, I had assumed it was mine. But online it said no equipment was available. I tried the 800 number, but was told I had to come back when it opened as it was not assigned properly. This put me behind 2 hours and cost me money as I had hired day labors to help me. When I finally got to the location, all the lady kept saying is “We were not notified about your early pick up so it’s not our fault.” Not very professional.
Edward ENo clear drop off location for trucks, gate is closed. Overall extremely poor experience with U-haul customer support for this moving experience and (unfortunately, multiple) reservations associated with this particular truck. U-Haul in general seems to have developed EXTREMELY poor customer service. I hope you get your reservation right the first time, if you need to change it or if your rental location drops the ball, you’ll be forced to play a game of ping pong (you are the ball) between departments since it seems no one support line can handle all problems with a reservation. Absolutely terrible customer service, they promise you a $50 credit for the missed reservation and end up weaseling around it somehow. The only hope you have left is to dispute with your card, U-Haul is useless.
