The agent Joseph Flores failed to get a ladder and inspect the roof before I rented the vehicle. He did a thorough inspection of the vehicle only on the ground. When I returned the vehicle in 6 hours, he failed to inspect the roof again. NO damages on my receipt. Apparently at some point after that someone at the locatoin filed a claim, even though they deny it to me. I am being charged $2000 for damages not found at the location when I returned the vehicle. UHAUL has conflicting information about the roof inspection. IN writing customer service says the policy is for NO inspection of the roof when returned. BUT Mr. Flores should have performed the inspction when the vehicle was to be rented and noted any damage. Mr. Flores did NOT inspect the roof in my presence at any time. I have an open claim, and and filed a complaint with the MD State Attorney General's office. UHAUL has no access to the supposed claim of damages told to me by two claims managers. ONLY the Repwest agent, who will not respond to my phone calls. I want a full and thorough investigation. No one should go through what I am experiencing for a week with no proof. Just a request from the Repwest agent for payment immediately.

Vehicle came with a greasy floor mat on driver's side. (When I mentioned that in my return questionnaire - I was immediately charged to clean the vehicle. That charge was eliminated - but I should not have been penalized for letting you know that you needed to clean a your vehicle.

The day before my wedding, U-Haul switched my location from the desired one (down the street from where I needed to pick things up) to this one (across town), causing me no end of headaches, extra miles and time. Amit at this King Farm location was great to work with, explained things better than a call to u-haul, and in the future I will work with him at this location even if it's a little out of my way, as the customer service is A+.

Explain the terms! Always verify with the customers what they want/need! Give instructions on how to return the vehicle! Ask, how long you need a car for??? No one asked me, no one explain how to return or how long do we need a car for! Terrible customer service! I am frustrated! As the result I had to pay double of what I really need! I’m very disappointed! Never use this location, that what my experience was!

I had to leave work to return the truck before I was done with it because a lady from Uhaul called me and told me they had another reservation for the truck. I told her I needed it longer. She told me that if I didn't have it back by 1:00pm she wouldn't have it to rent to the next customer and she would charge me a fee. Never had that happen to me before. I will never use that location again. 2nd truck I rented this week and also rented a storage unit. Her customer service sucked!!!

We did not have any serious problems with this location. The manager (Amit) was extremely helpful and supportive. He appeared to be training a new employee who needed some help but we did not mind that. What we had a major problem with was corporate customer support the previous evening. We never booked with Uhaul in which we required a different pick up location. I specifically picked a pickup location that would be easy to handle a large truck and trailer returning to my residence. Uhual suddenly informed me that my pickup location was a different venue that was 3x the distance from my home. When I called to ask what the issue was the lady I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. She only stated that "this was the specified location". She did not explain why it was changed or how any of this was handled. I was in shock at how unhelpful and rude she was. We literally sat on the phone in silence because I had no idea how to respond to how short and rude her response was to me. After an extremely long pause I simply had to say "ok bye" and hang up because she absolutely refused to acknowledge my need for help. This left me to pickup the rental from a much farther location and navigate through several tight areas with heavy traffic during the day.. which is exactly what I was trying to avoid during pickup. I just cannot believe how rude and unwilling to help the woman was when I called customer support to ask what was going on.. forcing me to figure it out for myself, drive 3x the distance, and worry about everything without the support of Uhual. I will likely try other companies next time due to this.
