The vehicle itself deserves comment. The right-side (passenger) side mirror was impossible to adjust so that I had a good view of the traffic beside/behind me in the lane to my right. I consider that a very serious safety hazard, and I am disappointed that your company permits such conditions.

I ordered 2 dollies, which was confirmed, however when I arrived, the location could only provide 1. Employee was sincerely apologetic, and offered any help he could (like calling other locations to secure a second dolly). He was outstanding. However, not having the equpment I ordered is poor management. I did not have time to chase additional equipment, and made our move much more challenging.

My UHAUL experience had nothing to do with the actual store location I used. I made an online reservation and later had many phone calls with various customer service reps. It was impressively difficult to make my reservation, confirm the details of my reservation, pick up my rental, to return my rental, to confirm my dolly rental, etc., etc., etc. I don't know what happened with the computer systems this weekend, but my reservation was a disaster almost as soon as I made it. I finally picked up my rental using the online before-hours pick-up app (after much hassle) only to find out at the end of my move that the computer system said I picked it up in a completely different town. So then I couldn't return it to the town I was in, and where I in fact had picked it up, that night. I had a very difficult call trying to resolve the issue that I did not create. This was not just some technical app glitch. This was a huge failure on the part of the company to coordinate reservation details. If UHAUL is going to offer after-hours and self-service features, they need to work and there needs to be adequate customer service support for them when they fall short, with far, far better communication and coordination between whoever is actually working with the reservation system. I felt like I was working for UHAUL this weekend as an employee, rather than getting a service as a paying customer. I would not use the company again and would not recommend it.

Although the use of the vehicle served its purpose, it was given to us damaged on the side and we were later accused of doing the damage. The person that gave this to us did not mention the damage, nor walked me to the vehicle for an official evaluation. When we dropped it off there was a new person (Jonathan) helping us. He accused us of this damage and went on a half an hour argument with us suggesting that we will have to pay for the damages in full since we didn't get the insurance. After he spoke to the initial lady that helped us, he found out that they gave us the vehicle damaged in the first place. Honestly, I think there should be a better way of assessing the condition of the vehicle before and after the rental period (even as simple as taking a picture with a time stamp). In addition to that, the staff should be communicating to each other prior to accusing a customers of damaging the vehicle. I hope you will consider my suggestion. Thanks,

Dear U-Haul GM, I was not happy with my experience renting a van from your location this past weekend. There were a couple of things that made it frustrating experience. The following is the list from the beginning of my contact. 1. When I reached out I indicated that I wanted to pick up at the location closest to my home. I got an email indicating my pick up at that location was confirmed. Then I got a text saying the location was switched. With no explanation of why. 2. The pickup was at an office park and had no one around to help. I was forced to use the on-line process and it was extremely slow and tedious. I prefer a face to face experience. 3. My expectation of the cost was I would incur approximately $95. And it turned out to be $112. I will think hard about using U-Haul for my next truck rental needs.

Got there for our 9am appointment at 8:59 and the gentleman was ready to work. He even went outside and tidy up the truck before we left after the paperwork was completed. Renting the truck their was pain free and hassle free. I will only rent from Corporate uhaul stores. Your franchise stores give your company a bad name.

The only negative was that I scheduled for an 8AM pickup online and the place didn't open until 9AM. Luckily I was running late and only had to wait 20 minutes.

I was not satisfied at all. I signed up for a van 4 days in advance and when I went to pick it up, the previous customer had not returned it yet. There was a 1.5 hrs gap between, but the vendor still did not notify us. I called customer service and they booked another van in another location and when I got there, the people there said I had to give 24 hrs notice. I had to call customer service again go to a 3rd location before we got a van. I've been told we will get a $50 refund in a few business days, I'll believe that when I see it.

Change your refund policy on small items purchased separately. I lost the receipt for a mattress bag while moving from Texas to Maryland. Offering only a store credit on a $4 item after I spent almost $1,700 was maddening. The staff said it was due to limits within the POS system and corporate policy. Really?

Do not use Uhual. Horrible customer service! We had chosen a location to go to pick up our truck, but the day before our move we were told that we had to go to a different location 1 hour away, without any prior warning. Once we went to that location they had told us that the truck you have ordered was canceled because you are an hour later than the time you were scheduled to pick. They had given us no calls, no texts, no emails letting us know that we need to be there at the exact time, even though the company knew that we had a long drive with possible traffic. Even when they canceled it they didn't let us know that it was canceled. We had to wait at the location for one hour when we were told that we can go to another location an hour away from the location that we already traveled an hour to get to in order to get out truck. We were delayed 3 hours in total and was caused a great amount of stress. The next day after out move we went to the closest Uhaul to drop off our towing machine(we had decided to tow our car , we had been told that we can go to any location we would like to remove the towing machine, but once we got there the man told us that he had no idea how to do it and only specific uhauls do this job. We spend about an hour calling and looking for a Uhaul that would do this, and at this point the movers that we had hired were already at our new house waiting for us to help unload our truck, but we were forced to keep them waiting until we got to another Uhaul location, which was about 40 minutes away. Once we got to the other Uhual(the 4th Uhaul we were forced to go to in 2 days) we received horrible customer service, with a rude man refusing to unload the towing machine(which took about 5 minutes max) for about another 30 minutes. When we finally got home the movers were stalled for two hours and we ended up having to pay them an extra $200. Uhual is the worse company I have ever seen, and I will never be using them again. I need to get my money back

I called a day before to see if I could pick up the truck at an earlier time , and was told I could be there at 7 am if I wanted. I showed up at 8 am, but the place did not open until 9 am. Was not happy waiting for an hour. Beside that the experience was good.

Customer Service was terrible I did online check in and I still spent 10 minutes ckecking in I given the wrong truck and then he cut the vehicle and then he left so I would have to chase him down if I wanted to contest the fuel reading. When I returned the van I was waiting for 10 minutes before I parked the van myself and had to walk inside and back outside to confirm mileage and fuel readings
