This is a review for uhaul overall not this specific location. I had to contact 3 different locations to confirm the auto hauler was available and uhaul was nothing but headaches. I was first told Ontario location on Holt had this equipment, I called to confirm and was told they did not have it. Later I was told I would pick up the equipment in San Bernardino, I later called San Bernardino and was told it was not available. Later I was told it was available in Running Springs which is 1 hour and 15 minutes away from my original pick up location. When I arrived at Running Springs I was told I would have to install the auto hauler myself which I've never done. This is beyond ridiculous, I've never hauled anything before and now I'm told I need to hitch it alone. I was lucky enough a individual at the store knew how to hitch it to my vehicle otherwise my entire trip would have been cancelled. I drove all the way from Sacramento for this hauler and was told when I got to the store that no worker knew how to hook up the hitch.

Not letting people come in the store interrupting people when they are in the middle of a transaction. That was rude. The service was fine but a couple of people coming in were rude.
LEAH AMy U-Haul shut off on 15 N freeway going up through Utah. Off a state highway.. I lost all power steering and brakes with 10,000 pounds behind me. The mechanic came out and checked the vehicle and told me nothing was wrong. but did suggested maybe a bad alternator, I talk to U-Haul for there maintenance logs. They said they couldn’t release because they are private. I continue with my move. I was on the 90 freeway in Missoula, Montana. The uhaul did the exact same thing but this time on a 6% grade all downhill. I easily could have died and gone off the cliff side. Finally, U-Haul told me there vehicle was a risk.. after I told them that this vehicle will kill someone if not me..they wanted me to drive my personal vehicle that was attached to the uhaul on a auto transport. I’m expecting a full refund back. They said it will take a few days of investigation from the field manager of the area I got the U-Haul. To top it all off the drive shaft fell off on the U-Haul in my driveway breaking my concrete. I expect a full refund and maintenance logs if they deny my claim. The vehicle was in horrendous condition.
