Completed reservation prior on app. Had to wait 30 minutes due to worker at desk ignoring me and she kept saying it would only be 1 minute. During the 30 minutes I heard her complain she didnt know what to do with the customer she was with due to his lack of information. After 30 minutes we had to beg for the key and the truck was covered in snow as well as the tires were buried in snow and I had to reverse unto the main road without getting stuck. Also we only received 6 blankets instead of 12 and the tank wasn't full which is a nuisance because you have to estimate how much to put in and of course I put in extra fuel. All these little things added up and made the experience very poor.

The pickup location was changed by U-Haul 24hrs before the pickup, even though we had made the reservation 1 month earlier, adding an hour of driving (return trip). When we got there, the trailer was covered in thick, hardened snow which we had to clean ourselves, and shoveling was required to clear the lot in front of it for hitching. Once we were hooked up, a text message requested we take pictures of the trailer using the U-Haul app - except the app was glitchy and the process could not be completed (2 photos would be uploaded, and then an error message would pop up). Most importantly, the staff was not properly trained using the software and hardware to process the contract; it took 1.5 hours from start to finish (leaving with the trailer) which was more time than it took to actually load the trailer with our belongings.
MICHEL EWould love to see this location get a bigger fleet of vehicles/trailers to give us even more options when renting. Hopefully they will be able to expand.
Brian DEnsure that the rental agreement is fully fulfilled. Truck and trailer were not connected and ready. No blankets available.
PETER JIt was very clear that the vehicle wasn’t cleaned before we rented it. There were old French fries and cigarette ashes in the door. They gave us a vehicle that had next to no gas and then charged us as if it were a full tank. Very unhappy with my experience. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.
