I was served by Jill. Jill brought the truck around, heated it and cleared it of snow. I had difficulty with the tailgate. Jill helped me rectify the trouble and even gave me a $10 discount for the trouble I experienced. I left a happy and satisfied customer. Jill is a consummate professional, polite, cheerful, helpful and able. Every service business ought to have a "Jill" at the front desk.

Very unhappy. I scheduled the pickup 2 days before. I scheduled it for Saco because they had the size I needed I got a call the next day from the location in Sanford telling me I could get the truck at that location. The day I went to get it the truck wasn't there. I called U-haul and they sent me back to Saco. The girl that helped me at Saco was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The truck itself was clean but looked like it hit everything but the lottery. It had lots of damage. I was told that the truck was a one way, so I couldn't drop it off back in Saco. That was fine since it's quite a drive for me. I was also told that the milage was free. The truck wasn't $29.99 it was $150 but didn't have to pay for miles. When I dropped it off I was charged $39 for miles. Halfway through my trip the truck started making clunking noises and the oil and check engine lights came on. I stopped at your facility in Portsmouth and the guy said he didn't have a truck that size. He said I could love the truck there with all of my stuff in it, and they could fix it on Monday. Or I could drive it home and if it dies I can call roadside Assistance. So I finished my drive. The truck was making bad noises and seemed real jerky the whole time. I'm no stranger to large trucks because I have driven them daily for many years now. I called uhaul this morning and let them know what was happening. I told them I was a bit nervous about driving it back considering the way it was driving. I also said I was afraid if I stopped to get gas it may not start again. I was told it would be fine just call for Assistance. I finally got the truck to the drop off point and that's when they told me that I owed more money for miles. The whole thing hasn't been a good experience for me at all.

Make sure that the employees working are properly trained and knowledgeable able what they are doing as I rented a trailer today, the gentleman working hooked it up to my truck and said that I was all set when in fact he did not tighten the trailer down all the way onto the ball hitch so when the car was being loaded onto the trailer, the trailer popped up off the ball almost hitting me. I explained this to the gentlman working who admitted to not following all of the necessary steps needed to ensure proper connection as he had only been there 5 days. Will not return ever

I felt bad for the one employee that was present. There were multiple customers there to pick up at 7:30am along with several customers with questions and he was the only person working. Would be beneficial to have a second employee there on Saturday mornings.

While I understand that the individual locations are franchises and the service and attitude of the owners reflect the investment they have in their businesses the corporate culture and attitude of the national organization borders on disgusting.I certainly would never consider investing in such an organization even though that is what I do for a living.

We have rented a few times at Uhaul and have always liked the service at the SACO location the best. Noah sure if you could improve what is already a great location! We recommend this location to anyone looking to rent a truck!

We reserved a 20 foot truck. Day before pick up we get told we have to drive a half hr away to get to trick because Saco no longer has that truck. Not my problem. They should have brought it to Saco when I reserved it. So we took a smaller truck and had to leave all my son's toys behind and other thing because we didn't have the room. Then we get told we can't drop truck off at the location we set it up for because they are taking drop offs. So we had to go a half hr away. The location said they were taking drop offs but I had to take it up with u haul because they are the ones saying it. We had the worst experience this time. The contract also said if didn't get what was reserved for us we get $50 off bill. Never saw that either. Not my fault Saco is always over booked!!!!!

The back of the truck smelled like marijuana. I called the Saco office to make sure I would not get blamed and they told me they were well aware. I wasn't too happy I was given a truck with that issue. I wasn't too happy it wasn't mentioned before I took off. Had I been moving clothing or furniture I would have had to take it back cutting into my move time. Do you think I would recommend the Saco store?

The wait was over a half an hour, limiting the time we had for the UHaul. Additionally, we had been told that we could extend the time (when we spoke to someone Friday) at no cost, but that was not the case when we got to UHaul this morning. The amount of gas was less than 3/8ths of a tank but was rushed bc of time. When I called about it, the customer service person did not seem to care. All in all, it was a horrible experience.

The trailer I was provided appeared clean and in excellent condition. Unfortunately it has a wheel, tire or axle problem as it VIBRATED CONSTANTLY once I put my 3,000 pound vehicle on it and drove it at street and highway speeds. THE VIBRATION WAS SO BAD THAT IS VIBRATED MY 2018 LEXUS LX570 FOR THE ENTIRE 260 MILE TRIP. (This is not my first trip with this model U-haul trailer and this Lexus towing the same load so I know what a NORMAL TOW feels like.)
