I was told to bring it to arundel me. That man was rude and said he doesn't take trailers he doesn't have the space he had 2 trucks and 1 van not much of a dealer.Your website and my pickup site said that was where it was up Supposed to go. He really makes u haul look bad.

More staff, 8am on a Saturday, the attendant was alone. We had an issue with the lights on the first trailer so while he was helping me swap trailers a line of 4 other customers was all standing waiting for about 20-30minutes

The truck was clean, but was in poor condition. Before I left the lot, the "Low Coolant" light came on, and the salesman had to add 2 gallons of antifreeze. Then, again before I was off the lot, I discovered one windshield wiper was shredded and dragging a "streamer" of detached rubber. Once on the road, the truck had a loud air leak in the driver's door gasket right next to my left ear, which was nice to listen to during my 5 hour drive. It also had a significant shimmy in the front end, which felt like it was probably the left front wheel out of balance, but could have been a lot of things. Finally, while unloading, I discovered a large icicle on one piece of furniture. Since the furniture had been dry when loaded, the water must have come from a hole in the roof. Also, the catch that holds the ramp in place was jammed open. Fortunately, the ramp was so hard to slide in or out that there was no way it was going to fall out en route. Overall, the truck lived up to the U-Haul reputation, but it did get me and my stuff where I wanted them to go.

I tried to get a milage plan as I had to go to Boston and come back up, but nobody could come up with anything just kept getting "Yeah you should talk to somebody else about that" well why would I when I am talking to the company I am renting it from....Made me rethink for next time!!

I had to go 30 miles (15 each way) out of my way to get here. The original location in South Portland WOULD NOT EVEN CALL the Saco location because it would have been too much trouble. Secondly, when I informed the gentleman at the Saco location of this he shrugged and agreed because he was the only one working. Yikes. You have a long way to go on customer service. As far as the vehicle is concerned - the radio didn't work! I drove from Maine to Virginia with nothing! There was no explanation either. I would like to see a credit to my account for this inconvenience.

Only 1 guy at the location and it took 25 minutes to get the truck we reserved. Need more than one person on a Sunday.

Very, very poor management. Had 1 person working on a Sunday alone. We had to wait an hour and a half to get a truck. The one we reserved wasn't there. We had people lined up to help us who had an hour and a half of their time wasted as well. My husband had to clean snow off the vehicle and could not get the truck out of the parking space because the lot was not plowed enough. We had to wait for the employee to snow blow the area so the truck could be driven out. There were other customers who had issues with their rentals as well through no fault of the employee who was working both inside and outside to try and take care of the customers who were there. I will never go to that location again, nor do I even want to use UHaul again after this experience. Many of my friends were made aware of this negative experience. I think the entire charge for the rental should be comped and make sure the manager gets her act together in how she runs that location.

I have rented many times from uhaul in saco- The employees there are excellent but they are incredibly overworked because there always seems to be only one person working. That makes them responsible for doing everything customers need- hitching up trailers, getting vans rented, filling propane tanks, selling merchandise, snow blowing and shoveling so they can even get to the vehicles...last time I was there I had to wait 30 min because the employee had to dig a truck out of the snow for a customer. There were two people in line behind me who waited an hour. I have never been to this location and waited less than 10 min because there is always only one employee working. If you want to improve your customer service you need to have more employees working at one time- it is not their fault, they're doing their job but it's a pretty impossible expectation and reflects very poorly on Uhaul as a whole

Please know, I share this only so you can address your corporate issues and help improve future customer experiences. We Had great difficulty making a reservation and explaining that we were looking to rent a piece of equipment. I provided details to expedite the rental process. None of the information was transferred to the store or employee. The information that should’ve been provided to us that we needed to bring a card with us was never provided at the time of reservation. Immigration it took almost 2 hours to complete what should’ve been a 10 minute process. The failure in communication resulted in with her difficulty to complete this transaction. In the clear lack of management at both the store level in any customer concern that the reservation level. My company would look everywhere before ever renting from this uHaul again.

Employee Lance Ward clearly didn’t act like he wanted any part of workinG a on Saturday. Also when returning the vehicle after driving a TOTAL of 12 miles I was told I would be charged for 3 gallons of gas. So I asked if the truck provided gets 4 miles per gallon of gas Lance told me I guess so. He then began to say if I had an issue of where the gas gauge was before I left I should have said something. Out of principle I took the truck to the gas station after lance telling me I would be charged for 3 gallons for a total of 12 miles.

It would be extremely helpful if you could provide a courtesy shuttle to and from the uhaul site. I waited 45 mins for a taxicab to pick me up at the Saco location. (Nothing to do with your service) just something to think about! Excellent service from beginning to end at the Saco location

The truck we reserved was reserved a week and a half in advance was not there when we arrived to pick it up even though I confirmed it less than an hour before. It was 2-3 hours later that one was found for us which at that point we had already had to change our moving schedule by an entire day.

I was overcharged and told the gas level did not match what was indicated when returned. However, the overage was done subsequent to return and inspection of the vehicle AFTER I was told everything was all set and fine and left the facility. THIS IS FRAUD!

Back of truck smelled horrible!! Couldn’t even use the truck to move my furniture the back of the truck smelled so bad. We ended up going to Home Depot and renting a Penske truck. I will not rent from this location again! This is not the first time I’ve had an issue with a truck rental at this location. Though it will be my last! Don’t rent from this location!!!
