The lady that I returned the trailer to was not properly trained. She said she was new doing this, and no one else was around. She was extremely polite and personable. She had great customer service. Please properly train employees on unhitching and moving equipment back or promote her to something more customer service related inside. As I said, amazing lady, get her inside where people see her first utilizing those rare talents you don't see anymore.

The clerk that assisted us was flippant rude and confrontational it wasn't until the supervisor came and took over that our issue was resolved and the problem had to do with something that was done the day before by the previous clerk totally out of our control I was not happy I was irritated I was already tired from moving and I was severely annoyed I would not recommend

The previous dispatch had returned the truck dirty and it had not yet been cleaned before I rented it. The sales guy really tried hard to clean what he could with what he had. I appreciated that. Very thoughtful and helpful sales guy, Justin Jensen.

I rented a trailer today from u haul at el Camino location they didn't have the size of trailer I normally rent but they made sure I had a trailer when I left there very satisfied customer and I will continue to rent trailers there in the future when I need one thanks again very happy repeat customer

It all had to do really with totally unprofessionalism of the girl that attended us with being on her personal cell texting while in the middle of helping us then proceeds by putting up her index finger at us as to wait while she answered the U-Haul phone. In total disbelief my wife says"really, did she just do that after texting on her phone!" SO SO disappointed with this location. For sure not ever going back there again! It's a shame too cause I only live like literally 5mins away. Thats still not to say that I won't ever use them again but I'll definetly be taking a few extra mins on my drive the next nearest location in hopes of a more professional staff. Maybe Uhaul should pay more attention in the quality of a potential employee before hiring. I get it, they don't pay much but still. SHAME ON YOU U-HAUL.

Create a system where the customer at the counter receives your clerks undivided attention while in your facility. My company rents from U-Haul regularly and the wait at the counter is longer then it should be because your clerk is answering phones and questions to possible customers rather then processing the customer right in front of them.

Check the AC on your trucks!!! Especially when you KNOW they are going through the desert! We paid over $900 for a one-way truck from Sacramento to Phoenix and the AC didn't work at all. I expect all amenities to be functioning when paying that much for a rental. I will not be recommending uhaul to anyone again. We have been given the run around when trying to contact anyone about what can be done about having to travel over 800 miles in extreme temperatures with no AC. Call this number, oh never mind call this number instead, and then they won't give us the corporate managers information.

Waited over an hour to be attended to. Never a "I'll be right with you" " Sorry about the long wait" "Good Morning" instead, When I got to the employee, Nikki Newton she was clearly hung over and unhappy to be working on Labor Day weekend or just needs to be trained on people skills if working with the public or general/basic customer service training. Employees should always greet the customer ESPECIALLY if they patiently had to wait over an hour she had no problem displaying her dismay of being at workmanship it out on me. I kindly asked how longer before I was completely done and checked out.... her response " No clue" I then asked her again, " okay do no clue is not an acceptable response, 5 minutes? an hour?" Her professional response with an attitude was "no idea" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! You see, because I was courteous enough to go online and schedule a pick up time and even arrived early, As your throwing attitude at me, I have THREE movers I'm paying by the hour WAITING.:: as I'M FOOTING THE BILL!! So rude and my time is valuable, so every minute I'm standing in line because your store didn't staff properly is costing me money- I still have to pay the movers, a hefty $75 an hour, so I don't think I was wrong in asking how long the process takes- she clearly didn't like the fact I told her that was not an acceptable answer she then turned to a co-worker ( Jeremy??) and stated "Can you finish up this customer, I don't want to deal with her" as she stepped outside to take a break. Nice. Glad to see you can just walk away and have someone else "deal with me"... people in line behind me, their jaws just dropped... it was BEYOND EMBERASSING and unprofessional on many levels. However, the young man that took over for Nikki was nice and helpful and quickly got me on my way. I also spoke with Jon the manager twice, both times very nice, extremely helpful and professional. However, Nikki's manager needs to address he situation I would hate for anyone to experience what I did- I don't know if I'd use this location because I wouldn't want to be humiliated again by one of your employees, this is my third time renting at this location, and possibly my last. Lastly, my card was overcharged. I as charged an extra day evenbaftervspeakungbwirh John and making an arrangement to do an after hours drop off because of the delay with the pick up in the morning, I as told no additional charges would occur because of the delay on U hauls end... I was charged! Also $25 for gas.. I logged 13 miles and put in 2 gallons of gas... how is this possible??? Not only that, I was given the truck with 1/8 gas, practically empty!! It's been 3 days and the fees have not been reversed. Overall, compared to my last few times I've rented from you- this cowrie once has not been good.
