Die to miscommunication uhaul had me running around Sacramento looking for a tow dolly That I already paid for them at my third location I had to pay again for a tow dolly Leaving me with barely Any money to get to my destination I was quoted differently t over the phone and proves went up the next day I came in to get my uhaul. I was super stressed out and crying and used all of my Money on the uhaul. The lady and manager that helped in the store was great but everything else My experience was horrible I’m glad I’m finally Out of Sacramento

I dropped off the Uhaul to this location, after having it professionally cleaned prior to its return. The gentleman who received me was not able to close out my order because he did not know how to properly use their software. I was told when I returned the vehicle that the vehicle was incredibly clean; however a week after the returning the vehicle, I received a $500 cleaning fee without any explanation. I have reached out to both corporate office and to the location manager and have not received any response. The customer service I have received throughout has been atrocious and I plan to make my concerns public on social media if they are not addressed in the next 48 hours.

The check out girl handed me a form and told me to look over the van and see if there were any problems and then return it when I returned the car. She did not do the inspection. Also upon returning the van the person who was supposed to be there was not. The lady who was inside at the counter came out to help me. She was great. I usually get better service from them. Also the van was dirty on the outside.

It was a 40 minute wait to get my truck, which I had reserved a week earlier. The employee who was checking people in then had to go outside, find the equipment and bring it around. Very inefficient..

I arrived prior to the facility closing to turn in my rental. Two employees saw me and another customer waiting to turn in our vehicles and they walked past both of us and proceeded to go inside and close down the facility. It was 20 minutes before they came out saying they were closed and we had to now turn in our rental online. I will not be using this location again.

Don't charge anyone's credit card with out them being present with a valid ID. You should NEVER charge a credit card FOR ANY REASON unless the cardholder is standing in front of you with a valid ID. It is beyond negligent to use a stored account profile and associated card with out verifying in any way that the cardholder actually authorized charges. Then, to make it worse, I was blind transferd on the phone from someone at "corporate" upon requesting a copy of the phone conversation. Just because the recorded message tells you the your call is recorded and you can get a copy doesn't mean you actually can. AND..... Even after repeated requests to have my "customer profile", including my credit card info removed from the system to prevent future fraudulent use and charges, no one at U-Haul is capable of doing so. DO NOT EVER SET UP AN ACCOUNT WITH U-Haul!

My original pick up location was cancelled and I had to drive a half hour to the next nearest location for the truck I reserved. That truck was not available when I arrived and had to instead, use a different, larger truck - which was fine. But now, my mileage was charged more because I was away from home vs picking up in my home town. Seemed like I was ripped off.

Worst experience at a uhaul. waited over an hour when I had an appointment and did the pre check in. Finally get to the counter and rep couldn't even open my reservation so he had to create a whole new one so all I did the night before and day of was a waste of time. Too much chit chat with the customers from the only worker checking people in. Delayed all others waiting. Then when waiting for the truck was told the wrong one was selected, and they spent another 15 min getting new paperwork. The staff said Sundays were always busy, yet they were not staffed to accommodate this. We will NEVER go the this uhaul site again. Worst customer service experience in a long time.

I had to spend 45 min to just drop off a truck. The personnel at the returning station was not knowledgeable about how to check in a truck from a different location. Asking me to go inside the store to return the truck. Once I got inside I had to wait in a long line because there was only 1 person attending all the people. Then, when I got my turn the lady said that she would need the mileage and gas level from the truck to help me and she didn’t ask any of the personnel that was working outside “check in” the trucks to obatain the information, instead she ask me to go outside to the truck and get the information in order to help me. I went outside grabbed the information and went back inside with the mileage and gas level and she was already helping another person so I had to wait again until she was done with helping the person who was after me in line so she could finish my check in. The lack of training your personnel beforehand on a busy day really affects your operations and hurts the quality of your customer service leaving unsatisfactory experience with your clients. Check in a truck should be very easy and convenient at all times.

Phone reservation - Front desk and sign in as well as return was all excellent. I wanted to pay cash for the rental but some mix up with your computer program would not let the clerk do so because I had a small credit from the earlier charge when I first picked up the truck.
