I purchased a tow hitch and now I have a warning light on and I have spent the past two weeks trying to get it fixed. I had thought that UHaul was better than this especially for $400.00. When I call guest service I'm on hold for 20 minutes plus which is a great deterrent to fixing it or having to deal with it. I'm going to protest the on the CC Todd 925-303-0844

I didn't know that the staff were using phone apps to take care of the processing so I though they were wasting my time being on the cell phone. but they took care of business really fast. so this was totally different from all of the negative yelp reviews. just get there early - this place is busy

A sooner notice about unavailable units. We got a notice the day before pickup which created a little bit of a panic although it worked out perfectly still. Otherwise, everything went fine from pickup to drop off.

I felt i have been cheeted. Pick up the car in Sacramento and drop off in Turlock which is less than 100mil, and they charged 383.4 extra Mil, also gas rank was about 1/3 of the tank kot 2/3 lile they said. I was in the rush to carefully check before i left and i was trusted them of get their work done professionally. Bad experience!!!

I waited 1 hour before someone could help me and other customers complain too that not enough help. In the morning. There was only 1 person working and left with a customer for half hour to set up trailer for someone and never said anything about like it and just went out the door left us there in the store waiting

Anytime I'm in the process of moving, the first company I would think of to facilitate this process would be U-Haul. No if, ands, or buts. However, my recent experience has now lead to consider alternative companies to get my propane and rental moving trucks. The sales associate did not clearly state the gas policies to me. He highlighted to me that the truck given to me will have 1/4 fuel. Unfortunately this was not the case as he gave me a truck that was practically empty. I drove approximately 12 miles until realizing that the gas was empty. By then it was too late, the truck died and it required much of my own resources since I would have been responsible for any roadside services. Once I told another sale associate of my issue, he discounted me 80 dollars and marked "Goodwill" as justification for the discount. I was offended since all my actions were not intended as an act of "Goodwill" but one of necessity to move my belongings. In addition, this value was not negotiated. It was simply applied leaving me with the grand total of $10. The value of $80 does not account for the gas (More than $80) that I filled, the time it took to fill up (total time approximately 3 hours), and labor (note: U-Haul has the option to charge individuals $30 if they return a truck less than 1/4 gas). I'm not implying that I will never utilize the services provided by this institution. But I will now look at other competitors. The likelihood that this company gets any more of my money is little to none. I will be letting any of my friends in consideration of moving to look at the many alternatives available to them and to ensure that the customer service is on point.

We had an 8:30 am appt and sat there until noon all to find out we had to drive to another location since you did not have anyone that could help us at this location. We returned on Sunday because it seemed like we had been double charged and the only person who could help us was there with an attitude since he couldn’t take 5 minutes from his lunch all to let us know one charge was a hold and the other was the actual fee mind you, this was the same person who helped me the day before and could’ve told me this to avoid us wasting our time!! I am so upset, I will be posting this on all my media outlet and let everyone know so they don’t go to this location.

This has been the move from Hell. I have been trying to contact U-Haul corporate, the stores, and customer service. I have yet to have my issue resolved by all three intities and if it’s at all possible please pull the call because there are some VERY rude people that work for U-Haul on all levels from customer service to the store. The issue is I reserve for my ubox to be shipped from California to Texas and to arrive July 8, 2018. I received the confirmation email with the details of when it would arrive and payment details. Only to arrive in Texas to be told my ubox shipment to Texas has been cancelled WITHOUT MY AITHORIZATION. I don’t understand what’s going on. I just want my things. I will never suggest this service to anyone and I will never do business with U-Haul again. I hope you all honor the $50 refund each say you all are late. At this rate my shipment will be free. I’m doing everything in my power to avoid having to pay another months rent but this is clearly out of my control. I need answers. I will post on blogs and other social media if I do not hear anything back within the next 48 HRS.

I reserve a enclosed trailer.. But when I get there they tell me don't have any.. And they make me drive 30 miles to different location.. But they don't have any either . So 2 hr pluss gas.. And I ended rent a truck for 6 times the price $300 for day.. poor business ...

Everyone was nice at both pickup and drop off. The truck worked wonderfully and was entirely clean. The only issue I have is that the truck was not ready to drive when I arrived so we waited about 45 minutes. It was not a large issue but it could be avoided in the future.

Even though I had completed the online reservation and was able to find the van in the Lot and go through the online confirmation steps, I then had to Wait in an exceedingly long line in order to pickup the keys. Upon returning the van, I was told that No One was available to check in... Doubtful that I'll be choosing this location on my next week rental.
