This is the first I've heard of this promotion. I have 3 storage units at the same facility and none of the employees mentioned this to me. I had a huge problem moving into to all 3 of my units. Unit 633 : when I was ready to move in, there was a U-HAUL lock on the unit and I had to wait over an hour to get someone to remove the lock. The movers I had to pay extra so they would not leave before the truck was unloaded. It looked like someone had been living in the unit. There was bedding, food boxes, mats, & sleeping bags. My 2nd unit, can't remember the number right now, but it also had a lock that I had to wait again to be removed. But yesterday, I rented unit 102, and it also had a lock that was not removed. The movers wouldn't wait because it was after 5, the office was closed, and we didn't know if someone would respond. I STILL HAD TO PAY THEM. I'd like to know if I can be compensated for my inconvenience of losing $200, for work that couldn't be completed and was no fault of mine?
