The pickup process was a nightmare. The location is a dumpy little trailer. The guy helping us with checkout did not know what he was doing to handle the process. We had to call U-Haul and have them walk him through everything over the phone. We were there over 45 minutes. The locations times were not correct based on the U-Haul app, so return and pickup was completely off. We were told during the pickup that they would be closed during our scheduled drop off time. I called a few days before and they mentioned they would be open, which is why I booked at that location. In order to return the truck, I was told to drop it off at a different location, which I later found out would have resulted in a fee for wrong drop off location. I was then instructed to leave the vehicle outside the gate with the keys on the passenger side tire! This is not the type of service I trust my money to, as I would be fully liable if anything happened to that truck! When we went to return it, There was actually someone there to receive the return. She seemed perfectly on point and knew what was going on. Its only because she actually paid attention and returned the vehicle correctly that this review is not 1 star. If there is a next time, we will rent from the official U-Haul pleace in St. Augustine.

Quite run down
Roger WContactless dropoff was a hassle, and the service was bad in the area, so downloading the app and uploading the pictures took almost an hour. It was not necessarily the location's fault, but if they had a Wi-Fi sign, knowing the location has bad service, it would have been very helpful. It was not a bad experience, but it was an improbable one.
