This U-Haul location is not staffed. The lady that owns the hotel lets her use the space to park U-Haul trucks. Also, the lady that is there, will not assist with contacting the U-Haul proprietor. Advertised hours for this business are that it is open until 130pm on Saturdays. The proprietor told me she is not open on Saturday and U-Haul traffic has her business hours on Saturday open until 430. When I arrived there were not clear instructions on how to pick up my truck and there was no one to help me. I eventually contacted the proprietor and she gave me a local number for U-Haul traffic. After three people and 15 minutes of holding time I was passed on to a specialist who I was told could help me. By that time I had gained access to the truck using my phone. I had set this reservation up and had taken care of scanning my license prior to arriving but was asked to do it two more times. Why does U-Haul #1 allow such absent franchisees and # 2 who is in charge of designing your customer service? Why so many layers of people who can’t help?

Limited space to return vehicles. I dropped rental contract and keys in after-hours return box after submitting return info with photos in app. The next day afternoon, the equipment was showing as "overdue" on the app. I called and the representative had to dispatch an area manager to resolve the return.
Robert BThis location is part of a rundown motel. It didn’t appear to be a very safe location. There was no appliance dolly as requested. Only a utility dolly.
