When I pulled into the drop-off area, I sat in the truck and waited about 10 minutes. It was a busy Sunday, so I decided to go inside, and as I was walking in to the store, a man rushed out. As he was passing me, he pointed at the truck and said “is that you?” I nodded and he said “stay right there.” I waited in that spot for another ten minutes before I walked back over to the truck. He was sitting in the truck with the door closed (it was a very cold morning), and when I approached he opened the door and said “I just emailed you a receipt. You’re all set.” I had just rented a truck from a different location two weeks prior, and it was just such a starkly different experience. The first guy couldn’t have been more helpful; he asked me questions about my move and preferences, and he still managed to process my return in under 5 minutes. I could tell that the young man at this location just wanted to get through his day with as little interaction as possible. As a customer, I was a little disappointed.

The new truck we rented had problems

The staff was great. But the truck that I had rented had a leak in the roof and some of my belongings got pretty wet, sitting in a puddle on the Shelf of the truck wet. None of my Furniture was damaged but my manuals for all my power tools and everything like that were completely soaked and a few other things had been partially soaked. The light not working in the bed of the U-haul made it a bit difficult to properly place items. It's not easy too Carry and hold a flashlight to see where you are placing. Yes, packing a boxed in truck in the dark makes for a Shin bruise bruising time. If the guys at the desk weren't so polite and genuinely nice I would not recommend it to a friend because vehicles that you are renting out should be properly checked and maintained. I holla boats and if my Wiggins is not properly maintained to lift an 80 thousand pound boat out of the water and strap breaks or the hydraulic pumps goes because it's low on fluid due to my neglect and the owner watches his boat smash into the concrete below I'm responsible for that because I'm providing a service that he or she is paying for. So Maybe instead of just being polite and courteous the workers should check their equipment so that way the individual renting the equipment doesn't end up with bruised Shins water damaged belongings and all around just a headache trying to pack in the dark was not fun I work during the day and I shouldn't have to provide flood lights the pack my stuff and a Truck that has a dome light to like the cap up.

Overcharged me on the gas refill. Said I did not put enough gas back in after I already put in 5 gallons for a 44 Mile trip. I then put in another 2.5 gallons and the meter was way over the mark. Rep threatened that he would charge me additional $66 if I didn’t add more. He didn’t read the meter properly or just wanted to charge me more. Didn’t have time to argue with him. Just made a mental note of the occurrence. Thanks

The owner was kind and friendly but the vehicle was filthy. The inside windshield and console were especially dirty along with the steering wheel and basically anywhere your hands and arms would touch. It was disturbing- I wish I could have wiped it down before even sitting in it. It was disappointing especially after how nice everyone was that I came in contact with. I hope someone pays attention to this review- it’s a simple fix.

The gentleman at the counter was extremely rude and nasty. He acted like I was bugging him when I picked up the truck and then later when we picked up the trailer. He clearly hates his job or people in general or perhaps was having a very bad day. I would said something but it was worth it - I just wanted to get it over with.

Salvatore was great for a one man show but you need more than 1 person working. I waited patiently but some costumes left and we all waited in line complaining about the long wait. Salvatore kept his cool with all the complaints on my pick up and return.

The 26ft truck that I rented stalled on me while driving on 3 separate occasions. Had to pull over on the side of the road, shut the truck off, and re start the vehicle. Also, battery went dead on me after my first load.

Arrived at noon, several customers ahead of us, so we had about a 10 minute wait. Maybe noon is not the best time to schedule a pickup, but the workers were thorough and professional with each of the customers. Our experience was flawless!

I made a reservation for a 20 ft truck and had to take a 26ft that made my move very difficult and expensive. Why don't you honor your reservations or tell the customer it isn't available.

I have utilized this Uhaul location on more than one occasion so I hate to leave a bad review after one negative experience. However my last experience was less than satisfactory. With only two employees working people were in line for almost an hour. Uhaul needs to do a better job with reservations made online compared to the store to avoid delays. I’m pro employee but there also needs to be a better system for people returning trucks.
