I made reservation on line, quoted price. Called to confirm, price jumped from $67.00 to $208.00. Only had one 4-8 on lot and dealer was holding it. This was the worst experience ever. If I operated my business like U Haul did I would be broke. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

The person who gave us the trailer and hooked it up was very condescending. The trailer was not hooked up properly and came off the hitch. When I contacted him he stated it was my fault for not stopping and retighting the hitch. I am 77 years old, and a woman. He should of hooked it up properly.

The trailer had a flat tire with a nail in it when I picked it up. The dealer acted strange when he was picking out what trailer he should give me so it makes me wonder if he knew the tire was flat and gave it to me because he didn't want to change it himself. It was a waste of my time and cost me a day of travel.

I think you're rental prices are very high. I would have purchased a trailer if I had known soon enough and then had a. trailer to use all the time i needed to travel.

Richard was friendly and helpful, thank you!

Had I had to use the bus all the way to my pick up destination this move would have been a disaster, due to changing pick up location. No reflection on the Salome dealer, but not being informed that Yuma had no equipment until I was on a bus in Oklahoma could have made this a most ugly experience.

Need to have some more kinds of trailers so customers don't need to drive a long distance to get it that were wasting gas and time too.

Would be nice if I could have started with a full tank and return with a full tank. Having 1/4 tank to start out I put $15. in @ $2.60 a gallon at the local fuel station just to be sure I had enough to get me to the next town (50 miles away) so I could get the fuel I needed for the remainder of the trip @ $2.19 a gallon ( Didn't want to fill it at the higher rate in Salome) and then I had to calculate the usage so I wasn't giving away fuel at the end of the trip. I ended up having about $10. more worth of fuel left in the tank when I turned it in than what was in it when I picked the truck up. (which was a mark or two above a quarter tank. I received it with a 1/4 tank). If the tank had been full to start out I wouldn't have had to take the extra time to make those 2 stops. If I had pulled off the lot with a full tank I could have gone straight to the new house, unloaded and made one fuel stop just before returning it to the U-Haul Lot. Other than that inconvenience it all went well. The vehicle was clean and dependable and the A/C worked great which was a lifesaver as the temps ranged between 108 and 120 in our area that day. In fact 4 people died from the heat in our State that day.

Can't think of a thing to improve! Way beyond what you could want or expect.

Richard just wants to argue, total butthole, if I ever rent from uhaul again it won't ever be there. This jerk wouldn't even give me my discount I was promised for the trailer not being in Blythe where I booked it. 60 miles out of my way, each way, to deal with this idiot.

The only thing that was just a little bit off, was the ratchet straps on the car hauler were twisted and behind where they needed to be. I had to pry the bar where the strap is connected so I could get it where it should be. Sort of looked like someone was trying to adjust their tongue weight by setting their car farther back on the trialer.

This location was fine is it had been the one that was close to where I was moving from. Having to find someone to drive me the 60+ miles to this location was difficult. I will try to use a different company next time and not U-Haul

I ordered a trailer in April for June pickup, and got a call on the day I was supposed to pick it up, asking me if I could drive 200+ miles round trip to pick it up in Salome! Even though the customer service people dropped the price, the commodity I didn't have (and wanted back) was time. The nearly 24 hours that put on my trip caused a cascade of issues that resulted in us missing our door-to-door move, stuff going into storage, and ultimately significant damage to our personal goods. The Salome location was basically someone's house in the desert, and although the people were super nice, it was not becoming of a known name brand like UHaul. If there were more options in this market, I'd never use UHaul, but the lack of competition most likely means I'm forced to be back, as I'm a military guy who moves a lot.
