U-Haul screwed up my reservation, I was sent to three locations, they didn't have the cable to connect my trailer lights, I incurred two extra hotel nights and was a day and half late on my 1,700 mile journey. However, John Walsh, the GM, was very helpful, recommending that I get the cable through Lexus.

This location is too small for the amount of business it does. A better location or building would be ideal. Overall, as a company, one-way moves have become way too expensive. I was able to find movers who loaded, drove and unloaded from California to Utah cheaper than the cost of your one-way move. Additionally, I think the company would benefit greatly from allowing cargo vans to be used in one way moves.

Your online service tool royally screwed us over. We were supposed to pick up at a different location and a different time. Not happy that I had to call in order for your customer service line to tell us that we "had an error online and the truck is no longer available." We had to go out of our way by miles to get a truck from somewhere else. Not happy.



When I rented the trailer they said I had for 6 hours and asked if I'd be returning it by 10:30 PM. I was surprised to find them closed when I returned the trailer at 9:00 PM. I tried to return using but when I got to the part to upload a picture, I could take the picture but when trying to upload it would just return to the account log in. Finally I called and talked to someone and they told me that if I left the trailer and appliance dolly there I would be responsible for damage or theft. So I drove all the way back home only to miss 2 hours if work drive all the way back to return the next morning.

When I called to make the reservation my call went to a call center. They told me they didn't know what location my reservation was at and that someone would call to tell me and arrange the pick up time. No one ever contacted me. When I called in on the morning of my reservation I was initially given the address of a location that doesn't exist. I had to call a second time to get the correct address. Very frustrating.

The truck only had a half of tank of gas when we got it. We were required to bring it back with a half of tank of gas. There is no way in HELL to know how much gas was really used!!!!!!! Had to put in extra to insure we did not get an extra charge. Great way to rip off the customer!!!! Send it out Full get it Back full just like a rental car. Then the battery was dead after we loaded the truck. Wasted 45 minutes jumping it. The steering was very loose and made me uncomfortable driving it in heavy traffic. We were supposed to get it for six hours. We had called in to let them know we could not pick it up until 10:00 am. Had to wait in line for over 45 min just to pick it up. There was only one lady there to help customers. She could only work so fast. Very bad costumer service. Even though we picked it up at ten we were required to return it by four. Felt very unhappy with the experience.

The assistant manager and manager of this location were great. I explained all of my issues and they did more than necessary to try to make it right. I actually should have had a mileage charge, again because I had to go all over creation to get the truck and then find the drop off location, but the manager took care of that.

The guy i worked with was cool but everything else was a mess. I schedule to pickup my equipment at one location only to find out that they did not have it. They did not want me to find a new location so i had to scramble to find this location.

The challenge your group faces is what to do when there is a lineup at the counter. I noted that while waiting there was several times when the counter was empty on your side, leaving those in line wondering when or if they would be serviced. I know that each sales person is needed to go out into the yard to assist the customer to checkout the rental, perhaps before leaving the counter empty the last associate could just clearly announce why the remaining lined patrons must wait for assistance.

My reservation was cancelled and my trailer given to Someone else without any notice. I was couple hours late and would expect at least a notice if something like that were to happen. Instead, I get there, wait on the line for 30 mins, only to be told my reservation was cancelled and the trailer given to someone else. There was no other trailers available. Was forced to go with a van instead.

Employees were unprofessional and rude. Apparently it was my fault that it took them 16 hours past my pickup time for them to get me the equptment, and when I mentioned this to the manager, he told me that I should chosen a better weekend to move. ( I had reserved a truck 30?days for prior). He then asked how long I would be using truck. I told him 24 hours ..that’s how long I reserved it for. The manager than told me that i didn’t need it that long and that it should take 6 hours top to move out stuff. Apparently this manager has never had to move him and his family without any help because the his reserved uhaul was not available when his helpers were available and planning on coming. The manager never apologized at any point and no one st Themis site went out of there way to get us our equipment or make up for this Uhaul error. I’ve used uhaul for my past 3 moves. I have a hard time seeing myself going back. We ended up having to pay for extra miles because our original pick up location did not have our truck so we were sent to this location. No compensation for any of these issues. If I did this on my profession, I would loose my lisence and our company would be sued for thousands. And finally to make it worse, the truck was no cleaned and there was sticky soda spilled on the steering wheel and dash. Looks like no one even inspected vehicle.
