That location in downtown Salt Lake does a variety of things that seem to be incompatible with neatness. But the location is good and the employees very nice. I'll take that.

Short staffed but otherwise good service
CHARLES BOut of all the uhaul in US, One of the best experience I had with this wonderful Manager and his kids. This place is my go to stop for rentals. My family and Friends only gonna visit this place only :)
DEV SThe place was filthy, crammed, and malodorous. One of the people present, presumably an employee or a friend/relation of the franchisee, was sprawled out on the floor when I came in; when I came back to drop off the truck, this same character was on the floor again right in front of the customer desk, with a plate of food on the floor like a dog. Completely bizarre. The place is a complete shambles. It's also in a very sketchy area, and I was asked to leave my car outside the fenced perimeter. I was half-expecting to come back to my car stripped to the metal; that didn't happen luckily, but that's the only thing that went right. I had paid for the blankets, but the bag that holds them in truck was empty. Fortunately, the mover happened to have some on him. The vehicle itself was a smelly, ancient POS with a busted mirror. And of course, I got charged triple the advertised rate even though I drove less than 10 miles. Will never recommend U-Haul to anyone.
ANTON Vwhen I picked up the rental the price had increased by about $150. I was originally quoted $214 for the rental from Salt Lake to Moab and when I picked up the truck the price was $357 plus the accessories I rented blankets and a appliance dolly. The number of blankets was short 21 vs 24. The truck worked good and I was able to do the move as planned but the price difference was a shock. I set up the rental about a month before the rental date and so I was left with little option but to agree to the higher price for the rental. I had plans and a schedule and it would have gone awry if I'd had to negotiate another rental so I went with it. I felt it was a bait and switch tactic
