The app needs a lot of work. Picking up the vehicle with the app was useless since I still have to go inside to get the keys. The person behind the desk was helping another customer so I had to wait in line while he finished up. I could’ve gone to the counter and out the door quicker than with using the app.

Mark was very nice and helpful. My reservation had been for another location to pick up and he helped me get into what I needed to move. The store is very busy.. Mark stays positive and friendly with every customer even under the pressure of having to multitask. Great job Mark Faires!

They have a sign that says to wait outside with return equipment in a certain zone and a rep will come out. I waited for 10m, then went inside to find the representative sitting on their phone and seemed surprised there was someone waiting.

The only things is the website for returning the truck. I took pictures of the mileage and location before leaving the truck, but going through the website for after hours returns doesn’t allow me to upload the pictures I already took. It wants me to take the pictures right then and there but after grabbing a lyft I had already left and was not able to take the photo. Took pictures of myself instead.

Upon pick up, your employee did not walk me around the truck, we did not inspect it together. he said your truck is the 2nd one over there. Very little customer service. I pulled it out of the parking space & walked the truck myself, tested blinkers & Hazard lights. He never asked if everything was okay. Younger guy, like 23/24 & was alone that morning. The drop off was a more pleasant experience with a different guy.

I had the worst experience ever in my life dealing with so much you guys just added to it even more on Monday 08/20/18 U-Haul was the cherry on top of a very hard break up/divorce. First, I communicated that my ex took off in U-Haul with ALL my belongings when he showed up and saw that I was leaving him for divorce. It was horrible my phone my purse all was in vehicle I couldn’t do anything until he reached out to me and I had to do things on his terms or he would not give me anything back including U-Haul’s vehicle. I did get in contact with uhaul thur text I couldn’t use my number right away because, he took my phone I had to get a new one. And, so once I did I got a text from U-Haul and so I communicated thur text and let you know all the details. Yet, you guys didn’t help me one bit! I explained I didn’t have any more money to rent truck again nor could I get any money because I don’t work. So I didn’t know how I was going to get truck back or fill up gas or much less clean it!! I needed guidance and most of all your help as to what to do.. Finally, on Sunday night I got a call saying my ex was staying with family. So I was able to wait until morning and contacted his family and told them that he took truck and it’s in my name and they immediately got the keys for me and I was able to go in the morning to where he was at his family gave me the keys BUT, none of my belongings were in truck and I know that doesn’t matter to your company but it matters to me yet I still got the truck back and I’m still dealing with that situation.. I picked up truck at about 6:30 in the morning Monday with bags and a table nothing more. I had not even unloaded the truck when my family came rushing to the restroom cause I was In shower saying the U-Haul is being picked up and it was reported STOLEN I flew out restroom to find out the details yet was told nothing. I’m furious at your company for the way you handled this situation. And, I know my life has no bearing on your business but I’m sharing this embarrassing situation with you because I don’t understand why you would not help me or guide me but ADD to the chaos in my life!!!! THANKS U-HAUL FOR THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!! Then today low and behold you send me a bill for almost $1000.00 are you crazy!!! And on top of that you changed the daily rental fee to almost $200.00 that is not what I signed up for the normal daily rental fee!! So by your company changing the amount of the fee I signed up for you void any contract we agreed upon because I didn’t agree on this contract nor for you guys to embarrass me even more and pick up the vehicle at my Familys home and embarrass us to whole apartment complex your company should wave all fees for rental and forgive me for my charges as well I don’t want to pay you guys nothing I went way beyond I had to to get that truck back yet you don’t take that into account!!!! Now I need you guys to make this right or I will continue to contact whoeve

1.) Made my reservation way ahead of time, the location was less than 3 miles and less than 5 minutes from where I was moving. The day of I get a message my reservation was changed. I called my son to see if he changed it, he didn't so. I called U-haul she said no no changes. We go to U-haul and they did not have our reservation, up on further inspection they tell me I am at the wrong u-haul. He gives us directions we go there and they do not have the 17 ft which we reserved they give us a 15 ft , really? No communication. My son was given a receipt for less than $80.00 the bank draft is $109.40 again, no communication. Service sucked!!

I feel like I've been "fine printed." a $40 truck sounds great, but the high per-mile price easily doubled the cost. I'm sure that's the marketing intention but I feel like the mileage cost should be more prominent.
