ADAN EI was told by the owner of this franchise that if I returned the unit with 7/8 of a tank (like it read at checkout) that I would not see any charge for fuel. I drove the unit 21 miles and before returning it, I stopped and put over 4 gallons in the tank and the gage showed more than 7/8. I returned the unit and the agent said that I would get a receipt by e-mail. When the receipt arrived there was a charge for over $14 and change. When I asked the same owner that checked me out and asked him why I had gotten a fuel charge, he said there was nothing he could do about it.I am a retired person and feel that his attitude reflects poorly on your otherwise excellent company.I will never do business with That franchisee again and if I ever do business with U-Haul again, I will demand a \n itemized receipt before completing the check in process.Very Respectfully,Richard B.
