Charged me for 23 miles but I only went about 10. Also per mile charge was quoted at 59 cents but my receipt says 79 cents. Just don't like being taken advantage of no matter how much or little.

Staff was ok but impersonal - send them to the "Trader Joes" school of proactive customer service and you will have a winner. Simple stuff like, "good morning how's your day so far", goes a long way. Also - the $30 penalty for not gassing up before turning in seem gratuitous. I didn't have to pay it though the fact that it's their is onerous and I am going to try another rental service next time for that reason.

I used Uhaul recently for a one way drive from San Diego to Texas, and I got a 10 ft truck and a two wheel dolly to attach car on for transportation. On the way to texas, the U-haul dolly's left tire burst in the middle of nowhere. I contract Uhaul emergency support and they told me to leave the tow dolly on the road and go ahead and drive back to Texas with both vehicles, and that I would be compensated by Uhaul for my troubles. Needless to say, when it comes to customer service, this uhaul store is horrendous. I have been waiting 3 weeks now for a partial refund on the tow dolly (which I should be entitled to a full refund for a breach of contract on multiple accounts but I have been trying to be nice to expedite my refund) and the manager refuses to answer my calls or return my calls or in any way resolve this issue. I have used Penske in the past and their equipment has never broken down on me. BEWARE OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS BRANCH!!!!

Customer service was great, friendly, polite and quick, they even gave us a cold bottle of water.There wasn't any issue with performance of the vehicle, front can clean a bit musty smelling. Although the outside of van was dirty as if it had been driven through the desert and the smell of the inside the van stuck like dirty sweaty socks.

Moreno Storage was great. They assisted with moving heavy items and helping my son and I load the cargo van. U-Haul was frustrating. While I was told the van was at "full" gas, as soon as I was on the highway I saw it was at 3/4. While Moreno confirmed I had only traveled 20 miles, to top off the gas tank prior to returning required 6.2 gallons of gas. Given my earlier highly positive experience with Moreno, I assume they would compensate me for extra gas, given I had receipt. Staff indicated they couldn't because of U-Haul policy. DOUBLE check gas gauge prior to leaving Moreno.

You have a very dumb process. You do't deliver the rental vehicle with a full tank and require it be returned with a full tank. You leave it at whatever level of full it is returned and then ask the customer to return it at the same level of fullness. This is a stupid process. Use the same process as the rental car companies.

While the van we reserved was ready, the blanket pads and utility dolly we reserved were not available. The vendor's attitude was that it wasn't their problem since they're just an independent U-Haul dealer. I reserved the van and supplies TEN days before pickup; I do not understand why the supplies weren't ready when I arrived. Fortunately, we were able to complete our moving needs, but it was frustrating not have the additional supplies to help with the move and more frustrating to deal with an attitude that didn't really care.

I needed 15-20 blankets to move some cabinetry. I ordered 24 through the web-site. When I got there they had 6. I had not brought any blankets or towels from home, so that was a huge bummer. I asked if they had any more on hand and they said 6 is all they have and they typically don't have any more. Fix that. Huge profit for you on those renting them or charging for missing blankets if they get stolen. This situation should never ever happen. It is a cheap fix for you and will help enhance your business.

This location did not have the 'utility' dolly we needed and provided us with an 'appliance dolly, instead which we did not need and was not a substitute for what we actually needed.
