I'd like to apologize for using the Uhaul for a longer extent than rented. My intention to pay for more time was something I tried and wanted to achieve. I became homeless and needed a place to keep my belongings and rest my head, no excuses. My trip to jail wasn't worth it, but a learning lesson. I am willing to agree to a payment plan to pay the arrears, please contact me on how we can achieve this please. I am on low income SSI. Apparently the uhaul guy doesn't work on Sundays which gave me a mini heart attack hearing this as my movers were already paid for and the stresses of moving were mounting. The lady at the front desk was really nice but overall I was not confident I was gonna get taken care of. Once we got ahold of the uhaul guy the process was smooth, but still had to go through that uh oh moment.
SARAH GOutside of the truck was clean enough, but the cargo hold was littered with nails and small debris from the previous rental; I blew it out with my leaf blower. The cabin of the truck was littered with spit sunflower seeds, food crumbs, pet hair and windshield smudges either from hands, feet, or nose of traveling animal; I blew out the cabin with my leaf blower and wiped down with disinfectant wipes. Truck was well maintained from what I can tell as we made it to our Michigan destination without issues and thank you for that. Associate at the Ace location provided acceptable guest service with nothing especially good or bad to note.

Melissa BThe gas was completely siphoned out the night before we acquired it. We put $100 in gas immediately because the gas light was on and showed empty. I notified the store manager at ace hardware who said he would notify the u-haul rep and take care of it. My invoice was never corrected and I sent an email to the u-haul credit/billing department and this happened almost a month ago and not a single fucking incompetent person has returned my email or has called…they are fucking losers…thanks ASSHOLES
