I rented a 9 footer van, clean inside but the outside was soo dirty. Carwash is needed and I was told that I have to do the inspection myself and mark any dint's or damages on the form given to me and return it to the office if I could not find someone that does it. I was so disappointed.

Outside of cargo van was dirty with large bird droppings and the like. I was told that the van could not be washed! I paid cash and was told that the credit card that was to hold the reservation would not be charged. I then see from my bank that the card was charge $5.50. This is the second time that I have worked with this U-Haul location in the past nine months and both times I paid cash only to then have an additional charge on my credit card. This is not good business.

I was very unhappy with the sales girl who assured me that the 10ft uhaul would be tall enough for a refrigerator... it was not... sales people need to be correct in what is asked of the equipment.. very disappointed!!!!!

Too much to type 1) got reservation through internet. Aside from having to enter, reenter...and I think one more entering of truck. 2) says check in cut your wait time in half...so i do (and I think I centered my vehicle info. Anyway, I get there and show my reservation number and guy says I have to go check in. I tell him I did on internet. He says gotta check in. I walk clear over to the other side of the lot, then wait in line. Eventually, some ASS helps me, I tell him I have a reservation already paid for on line. he asks my name, Instead of having to spell it, I say you want the reservation number? He starts grumbling about something, then says what's your phone number? I tell guy, slower this time... wouldn't it just be easier to use the res. #. Well when we got that straightened out, he asks for my license. I say I already put that info down when I got my reservation. Then, he asks for some other info (of which I commented had been provided) then guy "rings" me up. I'm a little surprised, because I Have THOUGHT that by providing my cc number, expiration date AND verification code over the internet...and seeing an invoice/receipt, that it had been paid. HOWEVER, I'm busy asking why we are doing this ALL over again and concerned that I a m going to be billed twice. And he says, no we collect money here...and tells me go ahead and verify. So, I do. Then guy hands me a green paper and says sign. FORTUNATELY, I read those things. I think I am reading something to do with insurance (which...along with all your little bs up selling that the customer has "preselected" automatically --who the hell needs a dozen moving blankets for a 5*8 utility???) Anyway, I ask guy what the green paper is. He says the insurance you selected! I say I didn't select any insurance and I go to my phone for clarification. Meanwhile ASS, turns into thief and says ya, you authorized it. I say when and show him my phone receipt... he says no, you authorized it when you "verified" the charges. YOU paid, therefore, you selected it. So real short...Thief added insurance to an invoice I had already "paid" and, ya know, didn't think that was something that he needed to tell the consumer. Rather that son of a bitch argued with me that because I paid, I was responsible for "missing" the extra charge he added. of course, as a consumer...and a regular user of uhaul, I am beside myself as this thief is justifying his actions. He goes further to absolve his responsibility and states...I didn't add it. I say you're the one ringing it up. Who else added it. They (now two people full of shit) say oh sometimes the computer just does that. Oh, I say, fix the frikin computer. Regardless of "who" added it, and now you're telling me it "haPpens" YOU WOULD THINK EMPLOYEE (who IS aware of the "problem") MIGHT LOOK FOR IT TO OCCUR, and FIX IT. But since they're not looking for it and since you're not fixing it I'm thinking maybe it's just the way the company operates or that guy's a thief I wo

The lot is so crowded with little room for error. I can imagine a lot of minor accidents happen. I did okay, but it was why I bought insurance.

Make sure you go over with your costumer about the contract right. We were given the wrong agreement even though the worker said we would be able to return the Uhaul truck to another location.

Staff friendly but the system was a complete let down. The sales person sold me because she said I would be able to get a same day pickup from my storage unit on 8/1. The scheduler called the day before and denied this request completely messing up my move. There was no attempt to help me, and it was noted in the system that I needed a same day pickup. I already had plane tickets and hotel reservations so I could not stay the extra day for a next day pickup. Plus, I couldn't have the Ubox overnight at my storage place. This was all explained and discussed on the phone when I made the reservation far in advance. I had to rent a truck and get the Ubox by myself. Complete inconvenience. If I wasn`t out of time I would have gone to another company. Oh, and then you charged me more money for the rental. Terrible customer service on the front end. The drop off at the location I moved to was no problem, but they couldn't do a same day drop off either. I didn't need it, but it was noted in the system so the scheduler talked to me about it. You really need to be honest, I think I should file something with the BBB. You say on your automated voice system you record calls so you can fulfill your promises. Well you didn't, and you lied to me when I could have made arrangements that would have worked for me. I will never trust your company again.
