I have been over charged - my contract says $1.89 per mile but I was charged $2.49 per mile. I called the store and they made me hold for 10 minutes whilst they talked to customers in the store about what wine she likes.

this is a franchise and they do not accept cash payment for U-Haul. That was an inconvenience for me. I was told by U'Haul that they would accept cash. The primary form of business is not U-Haul, but rather the regular customers who buy groceries, and as a result the U-Haul customer waits a long time to be served. Did not have a good experience at all. When returning he vehicle, finding a car park close by to the location was a challenge and wasted a lot of time.

I drove 12 miles, and put a gallon and a half of gas in... how is that possible? Also, I had to park the Uhaul in the city?? I thought it had a parking lot, the attendant told me to parallel park the large van into a tight spot....

The person in charge of u-haul pick ups at this market was incredibly slow and very difficult to work with. He had no ability to troubleshoot or help with problems, so when there was an issue with my reservation he couldn't help fix it. Instead he told me to call U-Haul directly, which I did, and ultimately it took over an hour to pick up the truck. Very poor experience overall.

This UHaul location is inside a corner market with little to no exterior signage to indicate it rents UHauls.The van was dirty with trash inside. The daily rate went from $19.99/day to $79.00/day. No recipt was provided to me before I left, only an email. I had no email access at that tim. And when I asked for a break down of the charges the man told me it would come in an email. I told I have no access, but was ingnored while he helped another customer. I have moved over 30 times in my life and used UHaul for many of those moves. This was the worst customer service experience in any of those moves.

Store was closed when I arrived. The gentleman opening the market arrived at 9:20am. No apology when I arrived. He started my check in process but it took him additional time to log in as apparently his log in wasn't working. Again no apologies at all. Then proceeded to help 2 customers in front of me while I waited even longer. When I returned the van I parked it exactly where I picked it up. When he left to check the miles and gas he decided that was a good time to also remark the car for no apparent reason. Clearly this store has no regard for their customers time and could use an update in proper customer service. I can't say I would recommend this to anyone. Pretty disappointing.

The truck was dirty and I had to spend 20 minutes looking for parking spot to park the truck. I have rented u haul all my life from different states ,never in my life I have ever heard that I had to look for parking spot upon returning the u haul truck myself before returning the key and that also close to the store where it's impossible to find parking right away. Sorry to say but wasn't a good experience at all.

The service at this location was very poor. They did not understand the policies of Uhaul, and incorrectly charged me. I did call Uhaul Corporate and explain my situation. Within a couple of days the area manager of that particular dealer reached out to me and was very sympathetic with my situation, and adjusted my bill accordingly, He also assured me that he would speak to the dealer to be sure that he better understood how Uhaul operated so this would not happen to another customer. I will absolutely use Uhaul again however I do not think I will return to that location.

Worst Uhaul experience of the last ten years. Truck was disgusting , had what might have been feces in the back, cigarette butts in the cab, and other varieties of trash in the back. The original agent overstated the gas in the tank. Just a generally shady and shitty (literally) experience.

The owner was dishonest. I was told that if I did not use the furniture blankets, I would not be charged for them. However, I was encouraged to bring them with me just in case. When I returned without using the blankets, I expected he would make good on his word. He however refused and pocketed an extra $10 from me. I still feel deceived and very unhappy.

I didn't realize until after I left, but I was charged for 8.3 gallons of gas when I only drove 10.2 miles. Something about that doesn't seem quite right.

The rental experience was very easy and the Sutter market location had a very friendly and helpful staff. However, the Uhaul was not up to par. The uhaul side mirror was broken and not secured so that the driver could not see out the side of the uhaul truck. This made it dangerous to drive in a busy city and potentially dangerous for other drivers. Please ensure for future drivers that these types of damages are fixed prior to other rentals. Thank you!

The van I rented had a broken window and was not cleaned at all. It took me 30 minutes to check out the vehicle and when I returned it they tried to charge me 3.3 gallons even though I only went 9 miles. This would mean the van gets about 2 miles per gallon.

You can not charge me double for a 24 hour rental. That's a start. You can also have a place to park the vehicle when returning...the red zone in front of the liquor store is less than ideal. Lastly, when you overcharge and someone is looking for a customer service number to speak with it helps if that number is actually open during the hours that it advertises. Sorry guys, but it's bad news all around.
