there was a known alarm of tire pressure in the truck, that may or may not was a factor on the poor handling of the truck at highway speeds. U-Haul should verify such alarms before releasing the truck to customers

When I called to reserve a van, they said they have one if I only need it for 3.5 hr, I was lead to sign a 3.5 hr contract for the same charge to rent the van for 24 hrs. I have to rush to return the van while leaving some items out. They have many more vans available, but they said it'll cost me another day of rental fee if I extend the return time even for one hour. I understand that its hard to have customers line up back to back and it'll be nice to only rent the van out for 3.5 hr, which allows for other renters to rent it in the afternoon, when theres no other van available. However, when they have more than 3 vans parking there and deny my request for extending the return hour is inconsiderate.

As the cell coverage in your lot (when I went to return the truck) was poor, I wasn't willing to wait for the app check-in experience in the dark of a parking lot. Unfortunately, I couldn't check-in online as the app requires one to physically be in the return location via GPS.

Keeping up with the cleaniness helps make the experience that much better than other Rental entities . The service and attitude of there crew at the local. U-haul is an excellent experience . They are very helpful and explain everything necessary to get what is néeded and on your way with confidence.

Reserved it on the web. The oringal pick up location was supposed to be Pete's Stop Tire. There was no van there for pickup. Had to drive to the UHAUL on Tully. The fact the original pickup location did not have ahte unit could have a disaster if Tully did on have one to rent. I also did precheck in on line and it apparently wasn't available to the Tully Pickup point.

Arrived and the location was staffed by one person- the manager. 5 people lined up quickly inside. No hellos, no acknowledgment. When I searched and found the employee in the garage in back, he barely looked up from his phone...again, no hello, no assurance of his concern. After I asked about timing before I could get help, he said someone else would be in soon. When I got the truck, there was grease on the bed of the cargo storage which wound up being kind of dangerous. Understaffing happens, understood, but acknowledgment goes a long way. When I returned the truck at 7:03, I knocked on the window and an employee points to the key slot. Again, no smile, no hello, no human contact....At this time- the manager- walks by with bags of food and again; no hello, How are you? Have you been helped? How was your rental? The reason I was 3 minutes late was that the call center person I spoke with- when I was anticipating being late- kept me on the phone too long figuring out how to tell me that no one at the location would talk to me or stay a minute past 7:00. She also said I would have to open an account to drop off after 7:00? 3 minutes after 7? Anyway, normally the service experience at this location is average but this was so poorly handled it warrants an unfortunate but much deserved 'poor' rating. Hope this helps.
