My confirmation was at the different location and got transferred to here. However, no one had contacted me to inform me the change. I suppose to get a call the day prior to pick up date but no rep had called me. I had to go extra miles and time to this location which I can easily find an alternative to closer to where I live. I am not happy with my experience with this location and how U-Haul not informing me about the closure of their facilities. The customer service and internal control could be better.

The rental was smooth, but the way they communicated about the rental was not correct. I had returned the vehicle in less than 24 hours and still they charged me for another day. It could be front desk's inability to handle it with the existing system, but then I should have been told during the rental time itself that this is the case. I can understand if it is communicated well enough, but it is not comfortable to take whatever they say and be silent. I have rented from other U-Haul centers also, but this was the first time I had an experience like this. Thank you for all the help.

very disappointed that I received the contract by e-mail and it stated "preferred location of your trailer" is Lake Forest, Ca for the pickup and I went there and they stated that it was some 25 miles away in Santa Ana. they stated that even though the reservation stated Lake Forest as "preferred" location does not mean it is there. Not Good !

Horrible customer service, when picking up I was just given the keys to the truck, when returning I was being held responsible for a dent that I didn’t not cause and although I purchased Insurance was still charged for it. I opened a case and will be fighting this all the way to corporate and filing a complaint with the BBB.

I don’t think I will ever rent from Uhaul again. For a Company that specializes in providing equipment to make a move just a little easier, man do they absolutely fall short. The lack of professionalism associated with the confirmation of booking, drop off process, and general communication is insulting. Very very very disappointed in my experience. I would not recommend uhaul to any friends or family.

Paper work was a mess. When returning vehicle, I waiting extra 30 mins and clerk could not resolve my contract issue. Mileage out was more than when I returned. I never received a follow up call as promised to let me know my total charge. Extremely poor service. Lacks supervisory attention.

I rented the uhaul and a utility dolly online and at the store for the pick up, the contract was signed and included the dolly rental. I was told the Uhaul was ready to go and the keys were provided. I arrived to the location for me to pick up my furniture and there was no dolly. The Uhaul had to be driven back to the pick up location and had to go inside to get a dolly. I received the final bill today that was charged to my credit card and I had to call the rental location as the total amount of miles seemed high. I estimated the miles at about60-70 and the total mileage per the receipt was 98 miles. I called the number on my receipt to talk to someone about this. I had to drive 10-15 miles more than I had calculated due to the dolly not being inside the back of the uhaul. The girl that answered the phone was not understanding what I was asking. She kept saying that she cannot credit me for the dolly since it was used. I did not ask for a credit for the dolly. I had asked if they could take 10 miles off of the total mileage due to me having to go to the furniture location and then back to the Uhaul rental since there was no dolly in the truck. Very frustrating trying to explain this situation when the person on the other end of the phone is not listening or unable to understand what I am saying. The truck worked well and no issues. However, the customer service or lack there of (on the call I made to them) has definitely left a bad taste with me. I will not be returning to this Uhaul location for pick up or drop off.

Able Car Rental and I both forgot abut the furniture pads, but they turned out to not be needed, they were removed from the contract without any issues.



It was not this locations fault. We were supposed to get at another location and you changed on us at last moment. This agency took 30 minutes to sort it out. Rediculous and here we come Penske.

My scheduled location was Fairview and Garden Grove Blvd. When I got there to pick up the tow dolly, I was told that I needed to go to another location (about 20 minutes away). I was asked if I had received any kind of call to alert me that the location had changed. I had not. Once at the new location, customer service was below average. Person at the front desk looked like they hated their job. Took a very, very long time with the gentleman before us. She was kind but very slow. Eventually we got our equipment.

The manager Maria was very rude. We didn't get greeted when we rented the truck. I called 4 hours before I returned the truck and I asked Maria if I can return the truck 15-30 minutes late she said I will charge you another day. I brought the truck back with gas 5/8, are they doing this intentional to trick the customers so they can charge them for gas!! I filled the truck with gas , she said you are missing 2 gallons I will charge you about $10. I will never come back to this location, I have been renting Uhaul for over 25 years and I want to look for a different company to use moving forward she is bad, very bad attitude and very low morals. No customer service, no manners, no communication skills. I told her her I will not come back she doesn't care she said ok I said I need to speak with the manager she said I am , I said I need the owner she said I will not give you the owner # I will never come back to you guys because of Maria

I rent the truck and fill out same gas for returning but the lady work over there she was so rude and unpolite and no friendly and asked me for more than 2 1/2 gallon gas and I did but the tank it was full because I returning by same amount gas and she asked me to I do it more and i pay 10.50$ gas + 3 more ile driving miles which are total charge 15$ extra and I am asking to return that money to my visa card . thank you

Not only was the truck filthy, the facility and bathroom was disgusting. The service rep was very nice. The company placed my money on hold and advised that that amount would be all that was coming out so planned foe that amount. They removed the hold and the money was back in my account instead of my account being debited. Today i get a message from my bank stating that the re-debites my account for 97.00 along with an addtl 2.50 for gad when i put the gas right back where it was at when i got it. This had now overdrawn my account -42.50. I will not recommend uhaul and will never use them again in fact i will instruct people of my experience all across social medial and strongly advise anyone against using them so that no one ever has to experience this. I would like a complete refund before i place this response in yelp and every other social media review outlet.

I requested an 8:00 AM pickup. The day before my move I was told that my truck would be available at 11:00 AM. On the day of my move I arrived at 11:00 AM and was first told that they don't believe they have any reservations for 11:00 AM. After checking, they found my reservation in the system, but said that I'd have to wait since my truck hadn't been returned by the previous driver. They called the driver and told them that they needed the truck and the driver did return it, but I had to wait for an hour in the lobby. I feel that they should have known that I was coming and could have called before I arrived so I wouldn't have needed to wait, or had extra trucks available that they could have offered.
