Regardless of the good people and service we were offered at two of your locations during our move, I would not recommend U Haul to anyone, based upon the apparently common experience I had of having a well planned moving day disrupted by U Haul not having the equipment that I had “reserved” available at the time and location agreed to when I made the “reservation”. I can’t imagine a worse or more stressful complication to a situation that had so many other components, and so much critical timing for many other people. Very disappointed at U Haul’s disregard for service to customers supporting your business.

The general manager and new lady we talked with and delt with were awesome. Great customer service, very satisfied with uhaul employees. Truck worked great and got our entire house moved in one day! The General Manger in Wausau WI location was excellent, I work in the restaurant industry and he had top notch service, very knowledgeable and accommodating to needs and helped me immensely! Will be back for sure!

The pick up location indicated to me the drop off location was set up as per my reservation . When I dropped off the truck that location told me there was potentially an additional $480.00 charge because it was not set up for the drop off site I had prearranged when I set up the reservation and talked to the pick up site about It took my having my friend, a man, talk to the manager to ge the thing straighted out. Then the manager talked to my friend a man instead me who was paying for the truck about the concern and checking the truck in. I was told at the drop off site I could not get a reciept for the main truck rental unless I contacted the pick up site. I called the main number for U Haul and talked to a lady who assured me she could email me the reciepts for the truck rental which she did. It was an upsetting expereience overall. The truck itsef was fine. I feel that I should get some money off of my bill related to this expierience.

I have used this company before for previous moves and this was BY FAR my worst exsperience I have ever had. First of all I was quoted a price a week prior IN WRITING and then the day I came for the truck they tried to change the price dramatically on me! In the process of getting all that worked out I was stuck there waiting for an HOUR AND 45 MINUTES! That in return messed up my whole day and the people that were waiting to help me move had to cancel out cause of the wait. There was a line of VERY PISSED OFF people almost out the door waiting as well. VERY SLOW service that didn’t seem like they had a clue of what they were doing AT ALLLLL! Also the waiting area was VERY DIRTY...and literally stunk! VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

The lady was very rude. I waited 30-45 minutes before she came and talked to me. I complained while I was there. She was also yelling at one of the other employees while there were multiple people waiting.

The gentleman working there did not seem alert, had issues typing and entering umbers correctly into the computer, was quite unkept to coming to a job site. Afterwords was concerned my private info would be used in some other way...not real professional at all....Uhaul has been around forever..our last couple uses have been rathe shakey. Donr know if we would use your company again...thinking people are not being compensated enough to hire more reputable people perhaps. I am just hoping my info will stay private

Assure that the location has the reservation. I arrived at 8AM as I scheduled only to be told I had no reservation. After nearly 20 minutes they finally found my reservation, I had the reservation on my phone and she still could not find it. It was to say the least VERY stressful. I reserved the truck 60 days before the move in Merrill, WI and three days before the move I was told I had to drive an extra 25 Mike's to get the truck. I can't say I would recommend U-Haul.

At time of pick up of my 5x8 trailer which I had reserved weeks in advance for 24 hour rental - I was told I had to have it back by 4:30 pm. I was given option of switching to a much bigger trailer which I didn’t want. I’ve rented the 5x8 for 1 day rentals many times over past 8 yrs & never been told needed to have back by certain time - 9 hrs. This double booking was wrong and should not have happened. At very least should have been informed well in advance not at time of pick up.

Give more than a day's notice if you aren't able to fulfill the reservation and when you offer them a different one farther away give enough extra miles to make up for that.

reserved trailer for 2 days. call Thursday morning to confirm 2 day rental ok all is good. show up friday about 4:45pm to pick up trailer and was told could only have for one day because they were overbooked! raised a stink and all of a sudden it was ok to have it for the pre reserved rental of 2 days. NOT HAPPY!

I had two different people start to process my reservation then stop partway through to address other matters. After 30 minutes of waiting, I was told my vehicle just arrived and it would be another 15 minute wait. By this time it was 45 minutes after my reservation. It took another 30/45 minutes before it was ready. I was there nearly an hour and a half. Then when I returned it, I nearly had no room to get the large truck into the lot. When I went inside it appeared the two employees were upset with a third employee or each or all of the above...? I don’t know. Honestly I think they were probably understaffed, but at the end of it all, I definitely overpaid for this experience.
