I was charged two days because I was a half hour late. However, the only reason I was a half hour late was because I sat in line for at that amount of time. I did not have the truck for more than 24 hours. I then asked to have the truck for the rest of my "2 days" and was told no, and that it was already reserved. This is complete unprofessionalism. U-haul essentially pocketed my money with no remorse. Very unsatisfied and will be contacting the corporate office. Also, on a side note, you need to hire more qualified people at that location that don't appear to live in a camper behind their mom's house.

U-Haul location under staffed. Vehicle scheduled pick-up time changed an hour and half latter. Customer feels he should have been contacted before wasting time waiting for vehicle. Also, rented moving van had very poor traction in icy-snow conditions. Customers should have been for warned regarding the absence of dual rear traction.

I pre registered and still had to go through the stuff again so why pre register? Also was told when I ordered on line that I would be able to pick up in Ringle and when they called to confirm I had to go to a different location. Not a happy customer!!!

I asked the attendant whether the tires air pressure was checked. He said yes "they always check them when they come in" I checked them when I took it home. One was 45 psi another 36. They were suppose to be all at 32 psi. This is very poor service. If I had a tire issue I could have ruined the furniture I was hauling.

Lucky I checked the inside of the trailer for cleanliness at pick-up otherwise another customer may have left with the two bags of furniture pads inside. As the renter stated "guess someone didn't do their job last night"

Was a little late and was going to charge me per hour plus an extra day. Also had to do unloading by ourselves. Very unhelpful.

The person who worked that Sunday arrived early and was ready to process our truck right away. This let us get to our location earlier which made the man who we brought the furniture happy since he was going to a packer game. We had enough time to get the furniture to the new house and the truck back on time which made everyone happy. It was the best day thanks to the efficient, polite personal that you have working there.

Got there early so truck wasn’t ready the counter man was nice gave me the keys and pointed to the direction of the truck not being a truck person didn’t know how to unlock the back part but got it figured out. Counter man was on crutches but the girl there wasn’t. Overall a good experience will use again

Dear U-Haul, I am patiently waiting on a response from my recent experience with U-Haul as I moved my 88 year-old stepdad to Calumet Michigan however weather took a turn for the worse I went to Houghton U-Haul to hopefully drop off as to not cause or be part of an accident and as the amazing Robert working there helped me tremendously but the woman on the phone who owns the place is charging us $300 when a one way trailer cost $168. I had planned on returning the trailer to Grand Avenue of Wausau but like I said weather took a turn for the worse and if I had not dropped off that trailer my son would be in the morgue identifying my body. My Chevy Colorado almost ended up in the ditch three times. It turned out to be a 6 hour drive versus a 3 hour drive. If this can be resolved in a humane way my 88 year-old Korean War veteran stepdad would be greatly appreciative. He is living in Garden View Assisted Living Calumet Michigan. Store opened 13 minutes late. Computer system didn’t work and took an hour to get my equipment. I will never rent from u-haul again

Disorganized, from telephone reps to the people at the pick up location. Everybody very friendly, but there were many errors in this process. Did not need that stress on top of my move. And the location of pick up needed more staff as well. They were always friendly and understanding, their face to face customer service very good, but the place seemed understaffed and it took longer to pick up then we planned. 45 minutes at least.

They're ALWAYS busy. That's not a complaint, but an observation. Tells me people are coming here for a reason. And those people are right! I rented my equipment and was on my way. I got to the Job site and there was an accident. It was my fault... But, fortunately I had purchased the insurance they offered. There was never a wrinkled eyebrow or any accusations. They knew I made a mistake. They took the ball and my problems were done. I called in to tell them the fender was dented and they said "no problem, we'll take care of it when you bring it back"... They were right, I checked in and pointed out the dent. They were just glad nobody was hurt. I see negative comments on feedbacks all over the internet, sometimes I just wonder if people like to do that just to make a noise. Good Work Guys...

The first employee I interacted with was unfriendly and unhelpful. I think she was having a bad day but it was still an unpleasant experience. When returning the equipment, we were helped by a very friendly employee. He explained things very well. Overall a good experience, I will be back in the future.

There are better vehicles on the market with better gas mileage and more comfortable ride. Also, consider things that are considered normal on vehicles such as cruise control & power windows.

In order to initially rent a simple 7$ furniture carrier, before taking it out, if a person wants to pay with cash, and after showing their driver's license, one would have to deposit $60. Why, after showing a valid i.d. does it take another $60?! This I feel is simply "overkill" and unnecessary. If anything, maybe an amount equal to the rental price should/could be required.

I was quoted $1,378.00 and it ended up costing me $300.00 more. I would have rented a Budget truck and been done with Uhaul.Dude at pick up location said the QUOTE IS ONLY A BEST GUESSTAMATE? REALLY? A truck going from point A to B and a Tow Dolly and its an estimate when I booked it get real UHAUL. NEVER EVER AGAIN
