I went to this location on a last resort to rent a truck. The lady at the desk was trying to help me and the guy who was there, which I'm told is the manager, was very agitated when answering questions. I was told that I would have 400 free miles and anything after that would be charged at 0.29 per mile. When I came back to pick up the van, a different man was at the desk. He had me sign the contract and told me about the insurance and fuel and who to call for help. When I returned the van the office was closed but I received an email receipt the next morning. I noticed they only gave me 100 free miles and charged me for 434 miles. I called the office and the so-called manager kept repeating himself and not answering my questions. I asked him for his managers name and number but he would not give it to me because he said that he was the manager and he said, "I am not refunding you any money" . I asked for his superiors name and number but he wouldn't give me that either. I called the complaint number but all they could do is reopen the case. It's been 3 days and I still have not heard from him yet. I will not recommend anyone going to the Schofield office unless that manager (Shawn) is no longer there.

My original order was for a 20 foot truck I got a 15 foot truck. The location was also moved and additional distance from my home. A great addition to your product would be a step to help people get up into the cab.

I had been waiting several days for a restock of "small" boxes at this location during a recent move. I was told they should be in tomorrow, and asked for a call when they had come in. I had utilized this location for personal and business moves for over 4 years and they had been great to work with. When I arrived, I saw the shipment of boxes were on the floor and let the employee assisting me check my vehicle back in that I had been patiently waiting for the "small" boxes to arrive for several days and I would like to buy them. She then called another person because they weren't "in the system as received". This person said he didn't know how to sell them to me either and went out back to where the GM was busy installing a hitch on a vehicle. This employee came back (same employee who was going to give me a call back when the boxes arrived on stock) and told me he talked to his boss who told him he could not sell the boxes sitting in front of me. He then walked me out to where his GM was out installing a hitch and said I had to wait to talk to him outside of the building when he had time and was done with his hitch install. After 15 minutes of standing there I left and will never go back. I've spent thousands of dolllars renting trailers, trucks, and packing supplies from this location and I will never ever go back. Employees are rude, condescending and unable to think for themselves in an effort to provide customer service when presented with a simple problem. Very disappointing. Never had these issues with the previous management.

One suggestion, provide trailer renters with standard vehicle maintenance that they should consider before traveling. We took a trailer for a couple days to move daughter home from college. Over heated the tow vehicle due to larger load. Simply needed to add coolant which could have been done before trip by checking radiator level before the trip eliminating roadside worries.

When I returned Cargo Van on 6/3 at 6:30 pm., it took way, way too long to get checked in. Two U-Haul personnel were working. One customer was being checked out for a trailer by an employee. Another customer was waiting in line before me. The other employee was getting in dollies & other equipment from outside. A storm was coming in, high winds and heavy rain were beginning. Two more customers came in. One concern I have is why employees waited so long to get equipment in when you could see a storm was coming in a half hour before I got there. An employee was bringing in dollies and other equipment. The employee apparently felt it was a priority to put the dollies & equipment away instead of putting this job aside so customers could be taken care of. Finally after waiting almost 1/2 hour, an employee started to wait on me, but then had to go out to their car to close windows as it was starting to rain and wind was getting very strong. The employee came back in and went over a few questions. Then we went outside, which it was starting to rain heavily. The employee had me go in the van and start it up. The employee proceeded to go thru checking all the lights and signals. In the many times I rented at U-Haul, I never had to go thru all that. In the past, all that was done was to check if the van was all cleaned out, which I had done. However this time it was not even checked out. By this point the weather was getting worse. I also had a person waiting to pick me up. My main concern was the storm. Why they couldn't check out the van later and contact me if any questions or concerns. Otherwise the employees were very polite, which I did appreciate. Other than what was mentioned, service was good.

Nothing. Sean processed my paperwork before 8:00 a.m. As I showed up early. When we finished, he had an additional seven customers waiting for him. Katelyn checked my truck in, upon return, and was informative, efficient and professional.

My only complaint is that we are asked to estimate the miles we will be driving. We are not told that if we over estimate them we will not be reimbursed the overage. That is wrong. Thankfully it was only a couple of dollars for me, but lesson learned. I will underestimate next time.

The owner kept telling us that he prefers not to schedule pick-ups for 7 a.m. because he has too much other work to do. We were not allowed to schedule the pick-up time until the day before which was stressful since we were under a time crunch.
