The check in was a bit disoriented although the actual hookup went fine. We did not receive the furniture dolly we reserved but they said we'd get a utility dolly instead (we didn't get it) but were charged for it anyway. We returned the trailer the same day but today we received an email receipt charging us for two days rental for trailer and dolly, More than twice what we owe. A phone call to UHaul was supposed to have straightened this out but obviously did not. The overall experience has been confusing and frustrating.

I was surprised to see the uhaul representative take a photo of my driver’s license with a cell phone. Given the mobility of a phone, how can I be assured that my personal data will remain safe?

The uhaul check-in and checkout experience didn't work for me at all. the manager of this store was rude when I asked for help upon arrival. Would absolutely not recommend this location to a friend. In particular, I encountered an error upon collecting the truck which didn't allow me to enter a fuel or odometer reading. When I returned, the drop off experience appeared to be working, but rejected all of my odometer readings because the "first" odometer reading (which I never entered) was apparently higher than the odometer reading I was trying to enter at drop off. Consider allowing the drop off to proceed (with a warning perhaps) regardless of whether the odometer rating is "valid" according to the system. I was stuck in the app, so just locked the cab, took photos and dropped off the keys. The receipt had information which wasn't close to the actual odometer or fuel readings, but was around what I was expecting to pay so I didn't argue with it. Regardless, a really poor experience.

This was honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. I showed up to a location in Seattle at around 11. After waiting 20 min, the guy told me that there were no Uhauls available. I said okay and left the store. However, he chased after me on the street to let me know he actually had someone cancel and might have 1 available. I said okay and walked back into the store. After waiting for another 30 min for him to get his computer working, he finally told me I could not do a 1 way trip!!! After 50 min of waiting!!! Anyway, then I wasn't gonna take any chances and booked a reservation at this location online for 12:00pm. I got there exactly at 12 and waited in line until 12:30 (ANOTHER 30 MIN) until I actually was able to talk to the person at the counter. Her computer was glitching and not working, and these were honestly some of the slowest people I had ever encountered in my life, across 2 different UHaul stores. It was on par with a normal DMV experience. After 2 HOURS, I finally was able to receive the UHaul I booked. I would never recommend this experience to anyone else. I understand being busy, but this was just gross incompetence, coupled with low-quality equipment that kept malfunctioning. Just horrible.

Linda was the only reason this experience was a wonderful one- without her, this location would be too lazy to make anything happen for customers. Kinda went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service.

I just want to say that the woman who checked me in (Lynda?) was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, professional and efficient. Also, the gentlemen that got me on the road and handled the trailer return were polite and efficient. I really appreciate the service I received.

The self serve did not work for me. I was bneing "verified" for over 10 minutes and then the website said it could not get authorized, and thus had to go inside to have a store associate complete my truck pickup. Frustrating waste of time. But the rest of the experience was easy. Dropoff could not have been easier. The gallon estimator was very convenient so I didn't have to guess how much gas to refill. My only real complaint is the price. I just needed a small van to move a couple couches (going to IKEA and then moving old one to Goodwill). Because IKEA is 20 miles away, the trip cost me roughly $50 in mileage. It's pretty absurd to charge so much PLUS gas PLUS insurance...Car2Go rents Mercedes GLA suv's for $79 for a full 24 hours, with 150 miles inculuded. And you DON'T need to pay for gas and insurance. It is included. But it just barely would have fit the boxes, so I had to rent a Uhaul. I would NOT use Uhaul again IF I can avoid it because the price is just too high unless you're doing a very short distance.

There are series of problems that are still unresolved. I reserved the van at 812 NE 65th at 6pm, and was confirmed by the officer who guaranteed the availability. However, once I arrived to pick up the van at 6pm, there was no one to give me a key. I called UHaul and was told that the office left since 3:50pm and thus I needed to pick up van at another location, which is 2601 15th ave W Seattle (3.5 miles away) Then, after using for 4 hours and drove just 38miles I returned the van but I have problem with uhaul.com. Thus, I called Uhaul and was told to sent evidences through his email. So I sent all information to him via email. Then, the next day, I was charged 200+ usd as it stated that I drove ~130miles, which is far from the truth. Then, I called an Uhaul officer again and she is going to update me back by 2 days. However, it is more than week now and I still hear nothing. This is extremely frustrating and terrible on-going experience. Every process has problem. I hope UHaul can be more reliable and professional, and fix my issue soon.

The website needed work, I had to go through the return process 4 times because whenever I got to the last page the website crashed and I would have to start all over again with no data saved. Otherwise good experience

We were told we could drop off the trailer anywhere, but then when we looked up our reservation it provided an address that stated we had to return the equipment to that location. Thankfully the U-Haul closer to our home was willing to take the trailer anyway.

I had to go to this location to get a trailer to attached to the truck I had rented (which was too small, 20ft). The blinkers and brake lights did not work, I had a friend follow me on the 5 hour drive so I wouldn't have any issues.

Clearly understaffed - the internet said it opened at 8, and people had reservations for 8 but the person working the said they weren't opening until 9, so there was a huge line by the time he was ready. People who did online pickup through the app still couldn't leave, either because we needed to wait for the single staff member to get us keys, or because there was equipment blocking the exit (and we needed to wait for the single staff member to move it).

Don’t overbooking. I had to wait 30 more minutes because they overbooked the van that I reserved a week ago, and a manager there had to go to another location and pick it up but came 30 minutes later than what I reserved.
