The worker behind the counter that actually handled the rental was wonderful. The person that I assume is the owner or manager of this service station / rental location was the worst. When I returned the van they did not supply a place to park and he instructed me to park illegally at a fire hydrant. There is more to this episode but suffice to say he was rude, used expletives and a litany of demeaning language.
Steven MCar was very dirty, with the bad small and trash inside of it. I was also asked if I need a hand truck which I booked In advance, I said yes I needed, and they sold me another one. When I opened trunk of the U-Haul there was one inside already, so I returned the handtruck they upsold me to when receiving the keys, but never got a $10 refund for it ( it was appliances hand truck)
Andrey LThe vehicles they posses are in desperate need of service. The check engine light was on. The fuel tank was nearly empty and the cleanliness of the vehicle was very poor. The cabin and loading spaces were clear of large debris but was in need of a good vacuuming , dusting , wipedown and sanitizing. I have rented plenty of uhauls in the past couple of years and this was by far the poorest overal vehicle experience. If the distance between me and the nearest "Proper uhaul" wasnt a factor i wouldnt have chose this location. Location and convenience was the only reason why i chose this vendor. Id rather pay the extra money in
