The truck was not maintained or clean. There was a lot of free play in the steering wheel. The cab smelled of cigarettes and had ashes and cigarette butts in it. The back off the truck had food waste and a very strong odors. The smells were incredibly strong. The condition this truck was in, made it not possible to complete my move. I moved what I was comfortable placing in the vehicle. We were forced to complete the rest of the move using our vehicles.

This location was recommended after scheduled truck on Colorado. Mattress 4 U broke down about a mile up the road. Luckily we were able to get it started and nursed it back to Lorain location. Then we had to pick up another truck at a location that was even farther away from our loading location in Vermilion. So had to pay for all these extra miles when it wasn't my fault. I am a regular customer at uhaul but was not a happy camper that day!
Truck cabin clearly had not been or disinfected in any way. I have pictures to show that. Back of the van had garbage in it. Have pictures also. Had to spend 30 minutes cleaning before we could use it. I should get a refund in my opinion. I addressed with the store and she said â€œ i am not surprised, i havent worked in a couple days and the others dont clean the trucks â€œ. Had i not needed the van at that time and it was the only available i would have cancelled
Jeff the story owner was very professional and easy to deal with.
The gentleman that runs this location was polite and fast in checking me out. That said, he needs to be there when the facility says it's open for rentals and returns.
Smooth and easy
They only had one woman working- she couldn't find the reservation and she took several customers when I had been waiting a while. She told me to wait while she checked other people out at the regular register. I did not receive a return ticket. She confirmed several times it was electronic. I asked her if I could have a paper one and she said no- she doesn't even know how to do it.
The vehicle and service was very satisfactory. No improvement needed.
Despite being a busy store was served well.??
Renting the van was by far the easiest part of the move.??
The location and personnel was great, but the truck wasn't actually ready to go, the driver door didn't open and the interior door panel and surrounding trim pieces were removed and was not real comfortable to drive.
Your computer system was in poor shape.
Do not rely on just a text. I would have expected if you changed my location you would have made sure to speak directly to me. Do no just leave a voice mail. I do not always check that. And the fact that I checked in on line and nothing was mentioned that I would go to an alternate location. I paid too much money for a bad experience!!!n
Don't change pick up location - have truck ready
I was overcharged as I was reported as not putting fuel in the vehicle. I did put fuel in it and have the receipt. I only used 30 miles and it tells me I needed 2 more gallons than what i put in but that would mean i got 7 miles per gallon when older models of this vehicle get 14 mpg combined. I sent an email regarding this and have yet to hear back. The location was ok but the clerk never went over anything with regard to the vehicle and did not verify fuel levels before or after. I will not be using uhaul again and i will be sure to share my story with others

i tried to order online prior and it was a complete waste of my time. You have to take a photo of yourself, then front and back of ID, then give them reference names and phone numbers. Apparently they could not verify my ID. Asked for the same information three times. Called my references and then denied me picking up the truck. So I went inside and the guy rented me the truck in about 5 minutes. Never wasting my time with their website again.
The price, the process and the vehicle were excellent. I will be a repeat customer. This location is right by my house, it couldn't have been easier. Thank You very much
The only issue was getting a nasty call from u hall asking where the the dolly was. I used it for about an hour or less. Returned the item to the store about an hour or so after using it. Did. NOT appreciate the NASTY CALL FROM U HALL. Not my fault there was inefficiency with the return on the dolly. Was NOT HAPPY with that at ALL. They need to check with the rental location before accusing someone of NOT doing something.....
Vacuum the seats. Passenger seat was full of lint. Otherwise, great experience!!!
I picked up my truck and drove to my home approximately 25 minutes away..as soon as I start loading Bi-Rite calls and says I have to bring the truck back becausethey gave me the wrong one!! I had a 2:00 funeral to be at so the extra 2 hours spent returning,meant I had to load after the Service and then drive to Chicago..when I asked to speak to I believe Kris,he looked around the corner and yelled at me â€œI'm on the phone deal with U-Haul I don't care!! What a guy,I get verbally abused after being extremely inconvenienced..and the kicker is that the truck he gave me the second time was identical to the first...but the trip went well without a hitch and I'll probably rent from you again,but that guy was a complete Ass and should be talked to..Thanks,Mark
The process took too, long. The truck interior smelled like a barn stall. The Insurance is a scam - I don't care what you all claim, my Insurance covers me in any vehicle I drive, whether for personal use, business, commercial or otherwise, So telling customers that Uhaul doesn't accept anyone's Insurance is pure bullshit - you don't have any say in what my insurance covers. I didn't fall for that crap, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who do & all I can say is shame on you! If I hadn't been in a bind I would have walked away. One thing I can assure you of is that I will never use you again. And you can bet I'll warn all my friends not to use you.
