I tried phoning a few times and was in the never ending hold loop. For 35 minutes and finally gave up (on 10/12 about 11 am). Called back the next day and phone was answered immediately and all was right in the universe. Mobile check in was AWESOME ! I was apprehensive, but I was in the truck on under 6 minutes!! Impressive!!!!

Thank you for the fast and great customer service! The only thing I would suggest is lowering the price to rent a van. I only had it for 2 hours and it cost $60. Ouch!

I'm not sure if this is for the pick up, or drop off. When I rented I was supposed to drop off in Newberg. I got a voice mail a few hours later saying I could not, and had to take it all the way up to Sherwood. This really kind of screwed up my plans, but thankfully the Sherwood store worked with my timelines in returning.

My original reservation was for Newberg - NOT Sherwood. When I arrived at the Newberg location - a note was on the door saying they had stepped out even though it was during business hours. I called the number on the note and I was told they are "busy" running errands and recommended going to Sherwood. Sherwood is 20-30 min away one way. The people at the Sherwood location only had a 26ft truck - not a 15ft like I wanted but they gave me the same price. That was nice. The customer service rep told me to call the regional manager in regards to their reservation guarantee. I called him - he said it only applied if the reservation is done by phone. It does not state this in the online reservation guarantee online. He did refund milage but the reservation guarantee is $50 - not what I paid for milage. Anyway that is my experience.

Self check-in when picking up the truck was not smooth. When we asked for assistance, the sales associate said it would take a long time to make another reservation and they would not be able to assist with online processing. Not seamless experience.

I did not find the process of utilizing the app to be very intuitive. First, the location did not have Wi-Fi; this was quite a challenge because I did not have sufficient coverage at the location to access the application with AT&T. Secondly, the iterative process for taking the photo of my driver's license was quite irritating. For example, I first took a photo, but apparently I had clipped the driver's license slightly. Then I retook the photo, but I hadn't noticed that the attendant had requested that I remove it from my wallet first. Then I removed it from my wallet and took the photo. Each of these iterations required 2-3 minutes to await a response from Hannah, who apparently has to monitor the transaction. Once we had negotiated the rigmarole, we were prompted to head back into the store to obtain a key from the same attendant who couldn't help us earlier. As a final frustration, when we returned the van that evening, we were charged for two rental periods (we picked up around 10:45 AM and returned around 7ish). This was the second-worst experience that I have ever had with U-Haul.

This isn't a review on this location per se, more on UHaul's experience in general. I was very frustrated from the checkin process. I signed up for the my uhaul. This was problematic for a number of reasons: - I went into the store and they told me they couldn't help me because I signed up for online checkin (fine...) - There was no cell reception in the store or wifi, so I had to go stand outside - During my online checkin experience, they eventually told me I couldn't finish online because I had an out of state drivers license - nevermind that they already knew that because I signed up with all my license information many days ago - I went back in the store where I find out they really could have checked me in, they were just told to not do that in general

The smell of rubber was so bad in the van that the 2 of us ended up with headaches. I did report this when I returned it. Awful !

Your online vehicle check out process is onerous and time consuming. When I asked the available clerk in store to help with the registration and checkout of the vehicle, he declined, saying it was too complicated to switch from the online process (my wife thought it would be easier when she made the reservation) to a counter check out. It pissed me off and I won't use this store again - which is where we have always rented. I'll try Penske down the street next time.

NO AIR CONDITIONING IN TRUCK! VERY HOT! drivers side kick panel loose, I kept catching the toe of my show, getting in and out. Excessive play in steering.

We had a little stumble regarding where the Truck would e picked up. I thought Sherwood. It was lake Oswego. Perhaps I heard wrong when I called to change my original reservation. Not a huge issue.
