We wanted this rental at 430 but whenever booked it said if we wanted a person to check us in then we needed to change our pickup time to 315 because the people leave. So we booked specifically to have a human check us out and no one was there. We couldn’t get the gate open, the app was slow and we had to do all the photos on our own. Great option if we had set it up that way at 430 but disappointed we rearranged our whole day so we could pick up early to make sure a person was there and then they didn’t even show up. The website should be updated to only allow self pick up if no one is going to be there anyways.
MATTHEW DThe gas tank was nearly empty and the closest gas station was several miles away and the truck almost didn’t make it. It was a ridiculous situation. The truck cab was also dirty. We rent uhauls twice a year and it’s never been that dirty or that empty of gas.
STEPHANIE BThe code to get in was not given at time of pickup leading to extra time and mileage added. Then no one checked the truck in for several days leading to extra calls to be made with U-Haul.
