The gas tank was nearly empty and the closest gas station was several miles away and the truck almost didn’t make it. It was a ridiculous situation. The truck cab was also dirty. We rent uhauls twice a year and it’s never been that dirty or that empty of gas.

The code to get in was not given at time of pickup leading to extra time and mileage added. Then no one checked the truck in for several days leading to extra calls to be made with U-Haul.

marcia eI would never use this location again. I set a noon pick up for them to be in lunch break. No code to get into the gate and no one to answer the phone. I had to switch to mobile pick up and drop off last minuet. This location refuses to do customer service and just wants to collect a check for being a uhaul location.
TRISTAN MMy first location was in San Marcos. U Haul changed the pick up location to New Braunfels which was not close to my location. I passed 4 U Haul dealers enroute to the desert location. San Marcos has 2 or 3 dealers also. This took over 45 min to just get to the location. The dealer (Bonnie) was pleasant and worked with me even though she was unaware that I was there to pick up a truck. On the drive to Ft Worth I also discovered the AC did not work, not a good thing in Texas.
