The staff that actually helped me on the ground was great but this has been one of the worst experiences renting a vehicle in my life. I don't mean any ill towards the people at this location as they were great but I would not recommend uhaul to anyone based on my experience. I would tell them to rent from anyone but uhaul

HORRIBLE experience! We keep giving Uhaul another chance, and every experience is worse than the one before. This will be our last! Unorganized service. Ran around from location to location trying to locate our rental truck, even after confirming time and location the evening before. No response from the Regional office when I left a message to voice concerns. NEVER AGAIN!!!

The whole experience was miserable. First off I reserved my truck on line then I get a call on the Friday I'm to pick up said truck that they had given away my truck on one of the days I had it reserved. Then they say "oh we will give you a break if you go to Spanish Fork and pick up the truck. We will front you 30 miles and anything over that will be on .10 a mile." So since I need that truck that day I agreed. Well then I go get the truck it almost double from the price I was given online. Also when I turned in the truck I went 21 miles over which from Lehi to Taylersville is not 51 miles! and was charged .40 cents a mile. You guys suck!!!!!

This rental was initially secured online. When I arrived to pick it up, it took approximately 1 hour to leave with my rental because I had to enter all of my information all over again with a gas station attendant, who was the only employee on shift handling a steady stream of gas station customers, as well as my rental. His thick Indian accent made communication difficult while requiring me to enter my personal information on a laptop as he continually switched between me & assisting the continual flow of gas station customers, which made the process unnecessarily inefficient & time consuming for me. I booked the rental online based on the combined cost of standard rental rate plus the cost per mile, but then, when my information was finally fully entered in the laptop after numerous interruptions to continue assisting the flow of gas station customers, I was told the price per mile charge was 20 cents more than what I was quoted online. Don't waste your time renting a U-Haul from this location...part of your rental time will be swallowed up before you can leave with it & you'll end up paying more than you expected because they charge more than the online quotes. Besides that, the gas station employee was unprofessional by continuing to leave the laptop & my personal information exposed to gas station customers when switching back & forth between securing my rental & assisting other customers. I will never use this location again & U-Haul has permanently lost my business & I'll be recommending the same to everyone I can.

Nice. But i dont like that they force you to pay the insurance the 2nd day. I drove it 4 miles had 14 dollar insurance for it. Lame.

How about letting me pick up at the location I reserved it for introducing of forcing me to drive 30 miles out of my way. Made me lose 40 minutes of my time but when I return the truck a few minutes late I get charged for it. There was a week's time to get it to the location I asked for.

The pickup location changed without sufficient notice. We were on our way to dinner when we were told that the location had changed from Provo to Spanish Fork. We had to cancel our plans and leave to make the pickup time. When I called scheduling to find out why this happened the operator suggested that whoever scheduled it incorrectly indicated that the Provo location had the supplies we had rented online--when in fact it didn't. What this seems to boil down to is human error. Please take the time to adequately train personnel regarding scheduling--particularly those who are not UHAUL employees but merely offer UHAUL supplies. I believe this is one of the biggest weak points of your services--lack of standardized performance objectives and quality customer care across the board. Also, don't send several emails confirming a pickup location then changing it without giving advanced notice. 3 hrs (by email) is insufficient.

Tried to call U-Haul recommended location, no answer. Found other location via website. Attendant working cash register did not know what he was doing. After taking over 10 other customers behind me, had to ask if he knew how to accept return equipment. When he finally came outside, tried to take my paperwork, without giving zero balance receipt. Then he was rude to me, waving his hands at me as if I was doing something wrong. Finally another family member showed up and did the proper paperwork. I did not even receive an apology as he was clearly out of line and incorrect. Exact opposite of experience picking up trailer.
