When U-haul customers call asking for assistance or pricing quotes the staff here just send you to the U-haul website and tend to try to get off the phone as soon as possible…it would seem that this portion of their business is a burden to them. The equipment (tow dolly - TD 4499D) had a short in the tail lights and shortly thereafter the right tail light parted ways with it’s plastic fender…which is very disappointing when paying so much and then having to provide my own tow lighting to remain legal and safe on the road at an additional cost. This experience was not a good experience and very expensive…

I was GUARANTEED a 6x12 trailer from Vick’s Corner in Spirit Lake which is about a 1/2 hour away.Was called 2 hours before pickup that trailer was not going to be available because customer had not returned it because of car trouble. They offered a 6x12 trailer from a location that was even further away from my location. I had to settle for a 5x8 trailer that was 10 minutes away. I understand the company can’t control when vehicles break down, but the guarantee doesn’t mean anything. Not impressed.
