This one is a side job at a gas station/liquor store, was only one employee when I got there, he was trying to run the store and do uhaul, his English was poor. He called someone to help him and was being walked through the paperwork. A 2nd employee showed up after a few minutes, she seemed to know what to do for the uhaul portion and got the job done. The 1st guy came out and hooked up the trailer, put the safety cables over the tongue and didn't hook up the safety brake cable. More training would help

First off, I have not always had a decent experience using U-Haul. This time was different. The online ordering system was fairly simple and quick to place a reservation. That being informed fairly quickly that what I wanted was not available but that someone reached out to me was great. When they did find what I needed, I was contacted and told by a person that it would be ready for me on my dates. Dates. Pick up a drop off was very easy and the location and rental trailer was very clean. There's a little bit of confusion at my local location on who's doing what, but that was little more than a couple minutes of inconvenience. Seems like maybe not everyone is trained on what to do with the U-Haul side of their business. That said, I got the help I needed without any hiccups.
Kevin HProcess to rent was easy and staff were helpful.
Steve GAdopt a policy where the charge for pads still in the bag comes off the bill.
randall mThe truck we rented had. I power steering. I had to add power steering fluid to the reservoir, the brakes were in need of replacing as you had to stand on them as hard as you could to get the truck to stop. (I’m 6’ 240lbs) but the situation only required a single 1 mile trip to unload. Unfortunately a power hungry HOA president took the opportunity after we got the Uhaul cleaned out and parked it at the end of the culdisac at midnight the night before we were going to return it and called uhaul saying it was abandoned the next morning early and had it towed. That is an issue we will deal with him but we have an issue with UHaul on why we were not notified or called and asked about this. The truck WAS NOT abandoned, had been cleaned out for return the following day and had been parked at that location no more than 8 hours. Why was the customer not called and asked about this?
