First and last time I ever rent from here. I got beat for $150 for damage on the bumper that I didn't make. Yes I rushed around and didn't see the damage, so the mistake it's on me. It's a expensive lesson. The people behind the desk should do a walk around to with the customer to insure there's no undocumented damage, like what I went thru.

Make sure the customer representative knows what day you take out your vehicle and bring it back I was charged for Forester days and I didn't even use them

Completely ripped me off, I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. Phantom charges and at 1.69 a mile, why bother? I was lied to when I made my reservation and it ended up costing me upwards of $150 to move two towns over.

It would be better if when people call and make a reservation that we speak to the actual location. It is irritating to make one for a specific size truck, be told we are all set only to have the location call and tell us the size wanted is not available. It seems to be a ridiculous practice and is distressing.

I was supposed to do a mobile pickup but the manager did something to prevent it and made me come in the store. I also thought it was unfair to have the tank not start all the way full. I had to get it perfectly to 3/8. I went a bit over (because the guide was wrong on how much gas to put in), but I don't get a refund. Why not do what everyone else does and have it full when I rent it and I have to return it full?

After waiting in line for 20 minutes I was lead out to the parking lot to pick a utility trailer. After choosing the trailer and having it hooked up to my vehicle I then had to back inside and wait.in lone for a second time to do the paperwork, unfortunately this day they where extremely busy. So what should've taken approximately 30minutes took double that. Then after all that I found I didn't need it and returned it within in 15 minutes and was still charged full price. And I even unhooked the trailer.

I was charged for an appliance dolly but they forgot to put it on my 26 foot truck. The next day I rented a 6 by 12 trailer and there was supposed to put the appliance dolly on the truck at that point and they forgot again. I had to pay extra money full Movers to carry the stuff by hand.

Staff over whelmed. Waited 45 minutes to even get up to counter. 1 person on counter and manager leaves to install hitch. Every time I come here there is a different crew. As a former service manager in my opinion you need to staff your locations during peak hours and pay your employees. Looking to buy my own car hauler so don't have to go through this again!

The location seemed to be under staffed, but the employee that was working and helped us was beyond amazing. He was under a great deal of pressure with several people waiting. He still took care of our needs without letting the pressure get to him. He was very professional, didn't act like he was stressed and even had to go get tools to properly attach a hitch for the trailer we rented. He had to use a hammer to get the hitch in and he certainly put a TON of effort! This was the best customer service I have seen anywhere in a long time. He did it show any frustration and even started accurately taking care of two people at once while the phone was ringing and had to answer that too! You have a great employee! This was around noon on Sunday, June 17 at the Boston Road Springfield location.

When I request a certain size truck, have it in stock. I was pretty disappointed that I requested a truck about 2 weeks ago and the size I requested wasnt there. I'll reconsider who I rent from when I move again in 2 weeks.

I arrived for a 9am scheduled pick-up and had to wait an hour. There were around five customers in line ahead of me and each one took an incredibly long time to be helped. This cut into my moving time. When I asked if I should try checking in with the mobile app to avoid waiting, I was told "I don't know, I've never used it". The only thing worse than the customer service was the truck itself. That thing was on its last legs and felt like it was ready to fall apart at any moment. I will not use UHaul again.

The vehicle had crushed potato chips in the back, wrappers behind the seats, a half empty bottle of water in the back, and the whole van had to be aired out before I could pack it. It stunk so heavily of marijuana, I had a headache by the time I got it back to the house from the lot. I wasn't waited on for at least 10 minutes. Felt like I was alone in the showroom. Nobody was inside. They also didn't tell me until after everything was set up in the computer that I had to have a credit card to rent it. I had more than enough in cash to put down a deposit as collateral but but they wouldn't even take a deposit. I HAD to have a credit card. I was very displeased that it stunk so bad inside the vehicle.
