I received the vehicle, when i got in it, i notkced that the gas mileage was way off and the tires needed air. The attendant adjusted my paperwork to 1/2 tank and put air in the tires. I get my bill and was charged almost $35 for gas. This is unacceptable and i expect a refund because the truck was returned over half full...Thank you

I rented a car port trailer to transport a vehicle fully on the trailer. UHAUL pick up and drop off was on Boston Rd. Springfield MA. 1) picking up: employees were less than professional. They openly held conversation about their previous night and hang over in front of myself, wife, and other employees. They used vulgar language including the F word (multiple times). 2. The equipment once I got to my location after towing the trailer 3hrs to pick up the car...I found the wheel straps to be torn and in horrible shape. Luckily I brought my own. Made it back 3hrs safely thank goodness. 3. Drop off...pulled into the drop off equipment area. Waited 5 minutes but no one was there. Waited in line for close to 10 minutes before employee asked who's truck was in drop off area. Quickly I said me...he said why didn't YOU say something. ..I said because no one was there and no other employees were available. We then went to trailer he asked how it was. I said lucky everything went fine. I proceeded to show him the compromised straps. His response oh man ...no way we should have let that out. Nothing following but have a good day. Finally, whether I was transporting a million dollar car or 1 dollar car I think that a company such as UHAUL would have provided the highest standard of equipment. AGAIN, good thing I brought my own equipment. By the way was picking up my life time dream car 1965 Mustang. Sorry to say can't see using UHAUL ever again.

My comment is we made reservations for a rental the day we went to go pick it up they could not find it in the system even though I got a confirmation on phone call the day of pic up. the staff was very polite upbeat and friendly..

would have given higher rate,but had to wait over haif hour to get truck resever,and also checking in with return truck.seems to be under staff. staff doing alot of running a round ,aiso would need person in charge to focus staff.staff did try very hard.

The staff left the truck back door open when they drove it up to hand off to me and there was a hand truck (that I had not rented) in the back. I realized this while I was driving when the hand truck fell over. Thankfully did not fall out the back of the truck

The employees were courteous and helpful. How ever I requested a rental over two weeks in advance at a location just a half mile away from where i was moving from. When I arrived, there was no truck. I then was forced to travel across town to another location to rent a truck. Not only was this inconvenient on an already stressful day, but I was charged for this extra milage when I returned the rental.

my gas tank was not full when i got the truck, they marked my contract but still charged me the $30. i returned the truck with the same amount of gas i received it with.

Better lighting in loading area. Reccomend unit with leds using batteries. Just change out once a week or leave connected to cab. The current configuration requires lights switch activation. Could lead to failure. Suggest mounting mirrors out more 17' challenge to back up. How about inexpensive aftermarket video assist. Also beeper when backing up a long truck.

1. Complaints.- Got a reservation & confirmation for a trailer. Called Northampton to be sure they had it. Did not have it. IF the web page says "Reservation" and the Email says "Confirmation" then I expect a trailer or truck where it says it is. If it is not available then don't lie to me. IF I hadn't called I would have wasted another hour going to the location that didn't have the trailer I ordered. 2. None of your trailer were the sizes you advertised. 4'2" is NOT 5'. Please don't BS your customers. I measured 4 trailer rated at 5' wide and only 1 was actually 5' wide. There wasn't 1 8' x 5' trailer on the lot, they were 9'. And please specify if these are inside dimensions or not. 3. When I got to the Springfield location the order had been changed by your computer from 2 to 3 days and the size from 5 X 8 to 4X7. Mgr had to start over. I lost 2 hours of time trying to rent a trailer and get straight answers out of your company. UHAUL can do a lot better than this: Keep track of your inventory. Publish actual sizes. Don't send a "confirmation" of a "reservation" if you don't have the truck or trailer. Don't sneakily change the size of the rental. If someone is renting a truck or trailer they are moving and have more than enough things to worry about. A trailer rental screw up is the last thing I needed. If you want to do something about it refund my rental charge and another $20 for writing to tell you about it. The guy in Springfield MA was nice about and said he gets these complaints all the time and passes them on to management. Which indicates to me that management is not listening. Thank you.
