They really need to have more staff on hand to provide customer service at the desk. There's always a line because there's one person only and its inconvenient. Even if you do an online reservation you still have to wait which makes no sense.

The mileage on pickup on my contract was incorrect. When I returned home to start loading, The hand dolley I rented was not in the truck. I spent 10 minutes on hold trying to reach someone regarding this. I've requested a refund be made to my card used. Also, while reaching under the seat for something I dropped, my finger was pierced by a glass shard!

Everything at this location was pulling teeth. From getting the hitch installed, and having to reschedule 3 times because the correct parts were not coming in, then not being told where the quick connect was, and not a single person knowing where it was... therefore making my pick up date with my trailer 24h late, with a cross country move, a whole day put me back and screwed with the rest of my plans. Not a single person helping me with my move will use U-Haul in this area ever.

Horrible experience every time I go to U-Haul. Dirty and broken trucks. The window was stuck down and it was cold and raining. Workers are lazy and two times in a row I’ve been charged for extra days after I had already returned the truck.

Upon dropping off our rental truck my personal vehicle was blocked in and I could not leave. The number I called was unable to get a hold of anyone. I had to take rental back for the night and return again in the morning. An inconvenience.

It took 30 minutes to make the reservation. On the date of pick up I waited over 40 minutes to get the keys. Then waited as the back of the truck was cleaned out. The filthy interior was never cleaned. The doors were locked prior to the 5PM closing time and now I have an additional fuel charge added to my bill. Totally disappointed in the poor customer service.

Counter help was more interested in talking to their current customer about things that had nothing to do with their rental than the line of 8 people waiting for assistance. I herd them mention something about a new computer system and how it was running very slow. Perhaps rather than talk about it, they should have contacted corporate for assistance.

Staff/manager friendly and helpful, just could have used a few more people...had to wait a little longer that expected to pick the van up Also, vans should go out on full and be returned on full so you don't need to worry about gassing it up when you first get it.

Not having rented a truck before, I did not know what should be expected. As it turned out, the truck that I received had a tire on in the attic storage area, a couple brooms, and a case of water bottles rolling around in back. The floor was absolutely filthy. I didn't say anything because I thought that was the norm. (There was only one person working at the time of my pickup, and he was dealing with 4 customers at once. He was also cleaning a truck when I arrived. Perhaps they were just under-staffed ???)

Terrible! I drove the truck 12 miles to my destination after they have me a truck on E, got to my destination opened the back to find the entire truck full of snow! So then I had to shovel it out while I was paying helpers to watch me cause they couldn't load a truck with my belongings! Terrible lazy staff who can't even check for things like this!

Although I am aware of the fuel tank level policy. When I picked up this truck in VA. the fuel level was 1/4. I do not understand why it could not be filled prior to my arrival. But I did return with 1/2 tank of fuel. Considering the high costs of fuel, at a national average of 2.486, I lost approximately $25.00 by returning this vehicle with more fuel than at the time of pick up. While I have no other true issues other than this....I strongly feel this to be a great disservice to your customers and as such will NOT be recommending U-Haul for others.
