I arrived at opening time (9:00 AM) and no one was there. The app was not allowing me to check in the truck. I tried calling the number. I got an answering machine, stating the business hours (9 opening to closing), but no one was there. I left a message. I returned 1/2 hour later (9:30 am) and no one was there. I tried again to return the truck by the app and it went through 1 step and then failed again. I called again and got the answering machine. I continued to call over the next 30 hours and got no response. I chatted on the corporate line, and they told me to call the number which I did numerous times. Finally someone called back, but didn't check in the truck. After 2 days the truck was checked in. But then they charged me for gas ($36) which I have disputed. I have rented UHaul and Penske many times. This return experience makes me want to not rent UHaul again.

make the pick up process not so painful! The app didn't work well at all..then on the phone, i got passed to three different departments before I found out that I should have just gone to a counter store. It worked out in the end, it was just a hassle to get set up on the app for this location and then the app wasn't working correctly for me.

Corinne DCouldn’t get help, no one was there. She didn’t give me the pads that I paid for and didn’t refund me because she didn’t answer the phone. Returning the U-Haul was nearly impossible since I didn’t have much WiFi to report it, I was there for almost an hour trying to return it, yet there was no person there to help me and no one answering the phone.
Melissa EThe truck has trash in it that I did not know about and I got charged. I was also read u had 66 miles before I got charged and ended up receiving only 38 miles. I had huge issues with the first truck I rented, was compensated for my fuel but still had 3 hours less of my day. I had issues getting communications between me and customer service. I do understand it was a Sunday, but still. I appreciate what was done, but I do not think I'll rent again.
