Alan is a mechanic not a Uhaul representative. He was clearly unhappy that we arrived and neeeded the trailer unhitched. The parking lot is tiny and on a very busy road. This place is not set up to be a Uhaul business.

I picked up the truck at 2:30 PM and the clerk at the site wrote me up as picking up at 1 PM. I was still at work at 1 PM. I found this out when I got to the drop off point at 2 PM and they charged me for an extra day.

I've used Eddie's Garage for Uhaul rentals before. They've always been friendly and accommodatin with great customer service. No improvements needed with this location in my opinion

When asked if I needed help connecting the trailer to my vehicle I said, "yes, please." The representative said she would send someone around back to assist. I was able to find where the trailers were parked in the large lot and matched up the trailer # with the one on my contract. I waited over 10 minutes and after no one showed up, I telephoned the office. She said, "Oh, I'll get someone out there." After waiting another 7 minutes I walked the 200 yards back into the office and was greeted by the same lady with a "Hi, can I help you?" I reiterated that I still was waiting for someone to help hook up the trailer. She paged a couple names over the PA system and I walked back to my truck and trailer. I went ahead and connected the trailer (light wiring; safety chains; ball/hitch) myself. About 5 minutes later a guy showed up so I asked him to confirm it was all connected correctly to which he said, "couldn't have done it better myself."

We reserved the truck for 8 AM. When we got there at 7:55, we were informed the truck would not be there until 10 AM. At this time we had 10 people waiting at our house to move our stuff so we headed home to just put stuff in the yard. On the way home, we got a call saying the truck would be there in 10 minutes so my husband headed back only to wait over 2 more hours for the truck. When the truck was delivered to the wrong facility, he had to be driven there to get the truck then come back to Eddie’s to fill out paperwork, sitting in traffic for another 20 minutes. Many of the people who were there to help us had to leave because we did not get the truck back to our house until 11:30, three and a half hours later then when we were supposed to get it. A very frustrating experience to say the least.

The texting and 800 number communication, from the beginning was total CRAP. I received mixed information, did not have a truck where I confirmed it would be, had the worst experience if my Life with an idiot on the phone, I emailed a formal complaint and did NOT receive an apology. I will NEVER recommend uhaul the worst customer service in the world to anyone

I made a reservation for a 26' truck for a move on 3/25. On April 3rd I was contacted by customer service and asked if I could pick up the truck at my destination location, 60 miles away, because the 26' truck I reserved 2 weeks before was given away. The only compensation I was offered was 50 miles, I refused as that wasn't going to help me out. I asked if there was any place in my area that had the 26' for the dates I reserved and I was told no. My only option was to downgrade to a 20' truck and make multiple trips on 2 days notice before my move. I was only compensated 50 miles for this inconvenience, I explained I would need the truck an extra day for the extra trip and was told that would be no issue, assuming the cost was taken care because of the inconvenience. I returned the truck to the drop off location at around 1PM or 1:30PM, the location closed at 12PM. When I received my bill from them I noticed they had the return time 0f 8:27PM, this was not accurate and incurred a $40 daily charge. It wasn't until I saw my credit card statement that both places charged me over $150. I don't think I should be charged $179.26 from my drop-off location, since my reservation, with ample notice, was giving away less than 48 hours from my original pickup and I had to downgrade and make multiple trips to make my move successful in the time frame given.

I am disappointed and I hate the last experience I’ve had with being billed through U-Haul. you guys collecting a deposit for your equipment is 100% acceptable. But you guys charging the customer and entirely second amount for the rental wow keeping the deposit is totally 100% diss honest and not acceptable. This is a 100% bad practice that said to put many of your rental customers and restrain financial situation unless you notify them of your dealings upfront.

There was no one there when we dropped off the trailer early. It is behind a garage and behind the garage is a lot of cars in various stages of disrepair. It was not easy navigating around the cars. The location we had to drop the trailer off was at the top of a hill. Thank goodness there were pipes along the end of the top of the hill because if not, the trailer would have rolled right down the hill! So smart of my husband to consider that! There was one person there that told us to just park it, "Anywhere over there." It was somewhat convenient to our home.

The only reason I didn't rate this location as "Excellent" is because there is limited parking. It is a repair shop without a parking area. I arrived late at night, after it was closed (advertises as a 24 hours drop-off) and ended up backing the 26 foot truck on the side of the building. Not a big deal, but an inconvenience.
