I was a few hours late and was charged for another day $28.00. They said 9:30 was the time, was probably true. This charge was not fair because there was no rental waiting for the equipment. Next rental i will check additional vendors because of this. Thank you.

Misinformed information about payment and this location didn't really seam to care and wouldn't even talk to me when asked for them to be put on the phone. They said "it wouldn't matter if they spoke to me or not"...that's great customer service...NOT. If you want better customer service and to feel appreciated as a customer I would look elsewhere.

I made a reservation by phone to pick up a truck at the U-Haul location on Van Dyke in Shelby Township. On line, I completed all the paperwork. I went to pick it up before the store closed, but the phone reservationist gave me the wrong closing hour and I arrived 10 minutes late. The next morning I waited outside the store before opening hours. The person sat in the store, drinking coffee until opening hours. When the store opened, the person said, they did not have my truck and he sent me to the 17 mile road location where I had to fill out the paperwork all over again. I would never recommend anyone deal with the Shelby Township store and your company definitely does not have your reservation system working efficiently and you have little concern about customer service. I haven't had such bad service for anything in years.

The counter person was rude upon return of the truck. Advised me there was some leaves to be swept out of the back of the truck which was fine, understandable. But was extremely rude about it, told me to get the broom in the corner and sweep it out before he would ok the release. I’m not opposed to cleaning up but I don’t appreciate being spoken too like a child. Overall very rude and I will not be going back to that location nor will I be recommending anyone else to location for any U-Haul services.

I told them I did not need any extras but a dolly and moving pads were in the truck. did not see till I got to my move. They were in my way all the time and had to have my friend follow with is P U cause I COULD NOT GET THEM ON THE BACK OF THE TRUCK Is this standard???

U haul is a irresponsible service. They have worst customer service and no responsibility about the services they manage. I hired movers help through uhaul and they didn't show up and didn't have courtesy to inform us.

It was not clear that there were U-Haul trucks on both sides of the building. It took us a while to find our truck, so it would be helpful if a sign was provided. Also, where my truck was parked, it was a muddy area. This is bad for two reasons: 1) the truck could have gotten stuck in the mud, and 2) the truck could have gotten dirty from customer feet (not really the fault of the customer).

Long line of people waiting to pick up early in the morning. Only one person working the counter. Even though I registered on line it still took almost a half hour to depart. Would make sense to have additional help during peak activity times.

Online and including in store locations with available trucks was off. I was sent to a location to pick up a reserved uhaul that didn't even exist. Upon calling and trying to figure out what was going on I was offered a larger uhaul for the same price and I was very appreciative of that. Service was very dicey at first but the end result made it worth it.
