I reserved a truck the week before, then Sunday night before I was supposed to go pick it up on Monday morning, they called 5 mins before they closed and told me that they did not have the truck I reserved. The lady told me rudely that they were closed so too bad for me I guess. The store manager hung up on me when I called and was nasty the entire experience. The store manager admitted that the truck was overdue for two day but never contacted me until 5 mins before they closed for the day and on a Sunday so I could not even try at a different company at that late time. I have shared this experience with at least 15 people and will continue to tell everyone what a horrible experience this was and what a horrible company Uhaul is. My experience was a nightmare. Moving is stressful enough without a being lied too and treated with such rudeness. It was not my fault they screwed up and instead of trying to make it right they treated me poorly. I did not even get an apology for the screw up. I would be happy to discuss this issue with a customer service rep and am still waiting for my $50 back for the reservation screw up. I will also be reporting this to the Better Business bureau. Though it seem as if your company cares little for the reputation or lack of customer service. The service given to me was very good. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and helped me with what I needed. However, I did rent a truck ahead of time, but it was not there when I went to pick it up. The young lady that helped me told me I would get $50 credit for the inconvenience, which was great. She did have another truck available that I took instead and she gave me the original rate I rented for. The only big downside was that the check engine light did turn on the truck when I was taking it back to the location I rented from. However, due to the great customer service I had an overall good experience.

I scheduled the pick up at your Hudson location because it was the location that would best limit the mileage charge. However my pick up was moved to the streetsboro location, 7 miles out of my way. I was NOT contacted ahead of time. This was a very poor experience.

This location is great. However, uhaul customer service/registration sucks! Informed the night before moving that no trailer available in my area, but might be one 30 miles away. This location came thru.

I had a terrible time accessing a uhual for my uhaul needs. I called the number online to find one and nothing available within 60 miles of where I was moving from. I continued to call the number online (the 1800 number) to check availability and got different answers each time. I needed a specific location and time...the representative I last spoke with when something was found told me I could pick up at the ravenna loaction at 7am...I recieved a text the next morning saying my reservation is set for 12 noon at the Streetsboro location. I called and spoke to several representatives even management. Not one apology, just "oh were busy this time of year" I found that to be completely unacceptable! I feel it was not handled professionally and it was a lot of run around! My father drove 25 minutes to get to the ravenna loaction where the representative ensured me it would be ready for no reason. Had to drive another 25 minutes to get back home! Drove an additional 35 mins to get to streetsboro and he arrived early and was even told the were not sure that the truck I reserved would be there, the truck pulled in with the trailer thank god! -but this was not handled properly and I find this company needs to be more organized. The representatives on the phone need to not ensure customers that things will be in order when there is no guarantee! The representatives in the stores should be more informative. I will pay the extra money and go with penske next time.

This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had and I do not want to pay for it. It's pathetic that I used the after hours pick up and the manger had all day to put the key into the box and set the code, yet it did not work. I shouldn't have to call the GM 10 times before he shows up to the store to unlock the box and give me the key because he couldn't of done it 5 days ago. I was late to my destination and had people waiting for me after working a 12 hour day, that was the last thing I needed. Absolutely ridiculous. Will take my business anywhere besides Uhaul during my next move.

Overall, the experience was good. People were helpful with getting our hitch ready to go etc prior to the equipment pick-up. The morning of equipment pick-up was very slow and way behind schedule. It took well over an hour to pick up the trailer.
