More in depth instructions would be nice. I had no previous experience with a big vehicle or a tow dolly so I was left pretty scared and confused on how to tame that beast. Thankfully the 10' box van I got was extremely easy to handle. I'd say it drove even better than the POS car I rented the van and trailer to tow it back with in the first place. The car got us away from Irma, but then it died and nothing was open to check on it. We did some searching around and found out it was cheaper to rent a truck and trailer from Uhaul than it was to have somebody tow it back for us. One thing I'd really like changed is that only box vans are allowed to be one way. I'd have much rather gotten a pickup or non box van for the trailer since everything we had fit in the car anyway and we didn't need a giant empty box behind us needlessly blocking my vision. Speaking of vision, one of those dome mirrors mounted to the back of the box would be nice, or maybe even go for backup cameras. These are inexperienced drivers getting these things after all. All the help you can give on your part would be greatly appreciated. Turns out, backing up even a tiny trailer by yourself for the first time is extremely hard.

Well, I arrived to drop off the trailer at 7:02 PM. The site closed at 7:00 PM. I noticed when I drove up, one of the attendants rant to the door to lock it. When I dropped the paperwork in the "after hours box", the two people inside intentionally refused to make eye contact.

Had a difficult time dropping off my trailer because it was after hours. It was around 11 pm I tried dropping it off. The signs says well just download the app. It would have been just easier if the woman I delt with during customer service would have also just emailed me my final receipt. Instead she told me I needed to call them to have it emailed to me. Well I tried calling 7 times yes I said 7 no I'm not exaggerating. And every time it would just ring and ring and ring. And then it would get transferred to customer service because it said all the people at the drop off location were busy. Yet when I finally decided to just ride up there I walk in the door and the 2 guys behind the counter were just sitting back cracking jokes.

Let me start out by saying that if it weren't for an employee named Steve Ebner at the location I rented from, I would never set foot into another establishment owned by u-haul. On Thursday I called u-haul and complained about leaking roof on a 26 foot truck I had rented on Wednesday. The leak was discovered when I went to unload my belongings and found they had been damaged from the rains we had been having. A little upset, I called and got an un-named rep on the phone who said " there is nothing we can do, the roofs are meant to be water resistant not water proof." I hung up went back to work unloading and swore that I would never use u-haul again. When I dropped off the truck Steve greeted me to check it in and asked about my experience and I told him. Genuinely concerned he told me "that's unacceptable" and apologized. He not only showed concern and apologized but compensated me for my troubles with a slight discount. As a small business owner, Steve is definitely a man I would like to have working for me. Steve took the time to show the HE cared enough about your business to show empathy to your customer. He took the initiative and made my problem his own. I truly felt that he was upset for me and wanted to do what he could to make the situation right. Please take the time to recognize this you man for the stellar service.

Great guys! Lost my cell phone at the location and they found it quickly. Thank God it wasn't run over. Appliance dolly was definately worth it.

Act like YOU CARE AT ALL!! I was a U-Haul Dealer #46357. Still Have friends at U-haul. Dealer at Lake Ella didn't have equipment, Tried to shuffle me to another of "THIER" locations and when I would not go that far Terminated the phone call, with out referring me to anybody closer "dealer" or even Recommend the U-haul owned location that I already knew had the equipment. I hope the market monopoly continues, I would have rented elsewhere if there was the option, and I consider myself a loyal U-haul customer Previous Dealer #46357 Gibson K Leonard 850-212-1394

U-Haul property is overcrowded with equipment. There is no room for customers to park or return equipment without blocking traffic in the street. Staff was helpful in getting a trailer hitched to my truck, but first asked if we had tools. It wasn't a terrible experience, but not the best either.

Drop off was very easy. I was able to turn the keys into an employee.

This location was very busy, yet the employees were still kind and attentive. The manager made a point to make us feel welcome.

Have more than one person at service desk to aid customers so that the lines are not long.

The staff was super busy with all the college move ins. They were very speedy in handling us, esp since we prepaid. However, inside the store there was a line of people waiting to pick up trucks. They complained they had waited 45 minutes and were really frustrated. The staff was doing their best and were friendly, despite the volume and HEAT. They were really understaffed!!!!!

This Uhaul should have a larger parking area as it caters to students moving to and from FSU. We had a difficult time parking due to the high volume of people at this facility at one time.

Make sure customer representative is at check in desk at all times. Waited 15 mins before received service.

Waited 45 minutes just to drop off. Very disorganized and understaffed. When someone finally helped me he was apologetic & and polite.

The last few times I rented from U-Haul and turned the truck in after hours it was simply a matter of parking the truck and leaving the keys in the box. Now, there's this added complication of using a smartphone to complete a 4 step process or leaving a message for the GM as I did. Although I have a smart phone I feel the smart phone method is somewhat presumptuous. Leaving a message with my contract information was ok, but what happened to simply leaving the keys in the box?
