AC in truck broken. Customer rep couldn't explain charges when I picked up truck. Kept repeating it was estimate and don't worry about it. Manager was excellent when returning truck and was able to clarify charges and apologized for broken AC.

U-Haul needs to change their reservations system. I reserved a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly and neither were available when I came to pick up my truck. We had to call around to other locations to find the equipment and then I had to drive to another location and pick them up. This threw off my moving schedule and caused unwanted stress. I was given a small discount for the inconvenience, but I would have rather everything be in order when I arrived. Customer service reps were very nice and tried to help as best they could with finding equipment for me at other locations.

The employees need to check units to ensure the public storage locks are removed before renting to customers. Got ready to move things in storage to learn there was a lock on unit and business was closed. Had to wait on Manager to come unlock unit but he never met with customers to advise them the lock had been removed. Had to go back shortly thereafter, to learn lock har been removed. Neither did anyone apologize for the inconvenience of having to wait for someone. This was very unprofessional on part of management.

I picked up a truck at 4 pm and returned it at 7:30 pm that same day in the after hours return box after filling it back up to the same gas level I received it at (just under 1/4 tank). I only drove the truck 19 miles in the city on slower roads. When I received my email invoice the next morning, I had been charged for 2 full days and was charged $64.00 for fuel and fuel service fees. My rental was only supposed to be $49 but ended up being $149. I am currently waiting on a refund invoice and proof of refund in my bank account. All in all a huge amount of stress added to the already stressful time of moving.

Pick up was terrible. Slow, slow, slooow. Especially since I reserved online. The other person working the counter took care of 3 other customers while I was still being processed. Drop off however was a nice exchange. Courteous professional, quick. Great job to the check out person!

I had an appointment for 8 AM. The shop did not open until 9 AM. If the shop isn’t open, I should not be able to make a reservation. I chose that location as it had availability for an 8 AM appointment — Unlike other locations in town. I sat for an hour talking to agents on the phone trying to figure out why I was allowed to reserve at this time, received an email, a phone call, and multiple texts CONFIRMING my appointment location and time. I would like someone to call me about some form of a refund for the failure to plan and would like some sort of compensation for the delay in my moving day and the mistake made by U-Haul.

We visited the location ahead of our move to inquire about cost, equipment, etc and then later phoned to reserve a mini van. As a result, employees made several reservations for us. On our first visit we were unsure of the exact moving date & gave an approximation. Later we called with the exact date. So after we rented the mini van we kept getting calls regarding when we were coming in. Better to have duplicate days reserved than none at all & no equipment available at time needed though. We were very grateful to have the needed equipment there at pick up time. But there must be a better way to get the correct date. Suspect a little extra training & experience on the job would resolve this slight issue. Otherwise employees were friendly, helpful & knowledgable. The mini van was easier to drive than expected. So our experience was a positive one. Thank you.

They charged my debit card twice for my rental, I rented a 15 foot truck and a utility dolly, I was charged $254.19 and $159.22, confusion, I was charged for 2 days of rental when I returned at the agreed upon time and I was also charged for fuel after I filled the truck to where it was before I took possession of it. My rental agreed amount was $98.00 so beware they till charge your card any amount they feel like it without your consent, be warned.

The location is hard to get in and out due to heavy traffic area. Very tight location with every Square inch used up.
