I rented a truck on Sunday at 1pm. First one guy was helping me. Then another guy came to finish me up. The gentleman only told us if we drop the truck off after they closed to drop the keys off in the drop box. We did between 5pm or 5:30pm Sunday afternoon in which they where closed but still was in the building. He never told me I needed to go to u haul website to check the truck back in. Now you guys charged me $64 and $94 for two days. When I clearer only had it for 4 and a half hours. In which your cameras there should shoe my boyfriend dropping the keys off in the key box. I would like for someone to look into this. I also contact u haul customer care.

The service was very good here, I had reserved a 17 ft truck, but they upgraded me to a 20 ft truck for the same price. (because they did not have any 17 ft trucks ready at my appt time). I have no recommendations, the service is great.

Make sure that you call your customers back so they won't have to keep calling 3-4 times and go to the location just to get an answer on why they contract was not closed out at a proper time.

I first went to an independent dealer in Land O Lakes and made a reserervation for a 5x8 trailer. He assured me it would be there to pick up July 29. Some one from u haul would call me July 28 to remind me to pick up trailer. No one ever called! I went to get trailer on 29th and it had been given to someone else! No explanation was given and no help was offered to find another trailer. Not happy at all!! lp

On the 1st of the month you would think they would have more agents available. Had a reservation and once I got there had to wait 30 minutes to get help or even acknowledged.

I received a 15' truck without the representative doing the inspection and walk through. As a result, a large gaping hole in the top of the truck was missed. it happened to be raining the day I moved. Luckily the movers I hired were able to plug the hole with cloth and get me moved, otherwise I would've been out of $250 for movers PLUS the cost of the truck. I found it odd they didn't do the walk around inspection. Next time I'll make sure it's done correctly.

Well, you can start by giving a 'goodwill' adjustment on my bill. The amount of gas that i started in the truck was actually lower than what the computer forecast, so the attendant marked my invoice the actual tank level and initialed it. however, throughout my driving experience, the tire pressure warning (in the screen where the mileage would ordinarlly show) had me very anxious and distracted. when i was bringing the truck back, I overfilled the tank by 2 gallons. i was so worried about the mileage not being visible, that in my distraction, i forgot to recalculate manually how many gallons i show fill up, based on the written correction by the administering customer service person. the last time i rented a truck there, i had to return it immediately, as there was a problem with one of the tires. despite all this, i would still use this location because its convenient. but the maintenance of the vehicles worries me a bit. Please refund me the cost of the 2 extra gallons. Thank you! p.s. if someone doesnt respond to me based on this survey, than I will think that you arent really studying these surveys, and are administering them "just to look concerned". Thanks again!

Not allow smoking in the vehicles. There was fairly strong cigarette smell.

a friend and i rented a 6'x12' open trailer from the "U-Haul Moving + Storage of East Tampa" (786058) 5806 N 56th St Tampa,FL 33610 -- the guy who helped us out was named Daniel and he was fantastic. He deserves a raise or something or at least an encouraging word for providing exceptional service. He helped us pick out the proper ball hitch to connect the trailer to our bar hitch. He connected the trailer to the SUV quickly and clearly knew what he was doing. He handled the paper work efficiently and all this was done with a fantastic attitude. i would have given an overall rating of excellent except that the store seemed to be a little understaffed when we picked up the trailer and when we dropped it off. the line got pretty long and we had almost a 30 minute wait when we dropped off. i think a 15 t0 20 minute wait should be the max. Daniel did a fine job working quickly and under pressure. Get that kid some backup assistance! He deserves it. Overall, very good.

The gentleman that took care of us was very attentive and helpful. I was very impressed in the way that he not only helped us but also went out of his way to help another customer that needed help with his personal vehicle. He was wonderful! And Thank you for all your help in our time of need.

Don't give a customer a vehicle that needs an oil change. Don't partially block an entrance with vehicles being checked in. Then treat a customer like an idiot when they have to pull out and backup several times to avoid damaging two rental vehicles because they were parked at an angle. Another customer pulled into an additional entrance and drove up to the blocked area, then refused to turn around, go back the way he came, and turn into second entrance. Entrance was 3 vehicles wide, plenty of room for him to pass by the waiting trucks on the left side and park in a customer spot. But no, instead of doing that, they forced me to turn my truck into a parked van that was angled toward me on my left. I was trying to avoid damaging two vehicles. The Uhaul employee was rude and condescending towards me. The entrance that he allowed the check-in trucks to partially block allowed plenty of room for two cars wide to pull in on the outside of them. You didn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure this out. But because I am a woman, lets treat her like she's an idiot. Plus, I originally rented from a location closer to me. NOTHING whatsoever on the website prevented me from renting there. Problem was, they don't keep the vehicle I wanted to rent at that location. DONT LET ME RENT A TRUCK THAT YOU DONT HAVE!! I wasted time and gas driving around only to find out they don't rent pickup trucks. FUX YOUR WEBSITE!!! I will NEVER EVER rent from uhaul again. I should have known better. I won't make that mistake again.

I reserved a trailer twi days in advance close to my home and when I got there it wasn't there. I had to drive 36 miles way out to get the trailer. This is totally unacceptable putting me 3 hours behind. This pushed me into working in the extreme heat of the day. I had a reservation so I see that means nothing to uhaul.

I had an issue using the self-checkout option on my phone, the photo I took of the driver would not upload and I couldn't continue the process. It was easy for an employee to manually take care of it all, but it's just something to work on.

I was charged for gas ..when I got the uhaul it was on full when I returned it it was on full..I'm very upset I called customer service someone was suppose to call me back no one never did..and I was not refunded properly

They rented me a truck that was not suppose to be on the lot to rent on the 11th of this month this truck was damaged and should not have been rented. The employee did not even want to do a walk around with me told me they don't do walk around so I had my daughter video tape it and I'm glad I did the truck did not run good at all they charged me for a equipment dolly and I never received one the tag was broken off the dolly that was inside in the bag was totally empty that was at the top of the dolly . When I ask to speak the General manager the young man is that the employee called the general manager even text the general manager and he never called back he never responded back I called twice for my phone I also text him and inform him that I was inside of the storage place waiting for him to respond back because they tried to charge me for 71 miles to go from 56 street to Riverview off rhodine road even when they look up the mileage going both ways it only came to 30 miles in the young man ton in the store ran my credit card in charged me for the 71 miles any way they completely stole my money and I'm calling the news people so more people can be aware of the things they are doing stay away from the uhaul place on 56 near hillsborough if you don't want to get ripped off for your money!!!! I want them investigated
