Well, I had a 26' truck reserved and confirmed two days prior and the day of my pickup they had no truck. Nothing within 50 miles. I had to call off my helpers and drive 40 miles the next day to pick up a 20' truck. All my planning was for nothing. In spite of that, both the pickup location and the drop off location was great.Christopher F.

We had scheduled to pick up in palm springs. But the. Was told I had to go 45 minutes out of the way to pick up the truck I had reserved. I wasted an extra 90 minutes in 100 degree heat. It would be much better if a reservation actually meant something.Jeff T.

Your 800 # needs new employees. The physical location service was great, but the location where we reserved the truck didn't have the truck so the 800# guy sent us to this location which is 46-50 minutes away. Then when we got there, they didn't have the appliance dolly we reserved, so the SAME exact 800# guy sent us back to the original location for the dolly and this was AFTER he hung up on us. Overall, it took us 3 1/2 hours to rent a truck. We've been telling everyone we see about our experience with uhaul and directing them to anyone but Uhaul. In the last two weeks, we've had 6 of our friends rent from Penske, and 1 just hire movers after hearing our story with uhaulRose A T.

I was double charged. Once at the drop off and once by U-Haul. I have reported this to U-Haul and they said that they would look into it. That was last week, I haven't heard anything back from U-Haul. I suppose I will have to spend another 3 hours of my time to get someone to pay me back for what they overcharged. I guess maybe my friend replied. I guess maybe my friends on Facebook would like to know how U-Haul treated me after I have had long stressful trip across Thebes country. First off, very disappointed that I could not drop off in my town of Borrego Springs. Had to make a 90 mile round trip to drop it off. Then I was not in the system to drop off at this market and then they wanted to charge me an extra $16 that they then corrected.steve M.
The man was very friendly I had no issue picking it up or dropping it off, I rated the way I did because I realize its my responsibility to understand what I obligate myself too. So I just suggest that he highlight the details of the contract to ensure the customer understands: This estimated rate will change if you go over your miles each mile is $$ also here's written agreement that we both understand the details of contact the start mileage should be listed and agreed upon also the customer should be notified of the final price when dropping off in case any questions come up. I expected to pay 150 maybe 190 but not 270.00 I didn't see my final amount until I got home and seen my emails I realize now my mistake Otherwise he was all cool don't get me wrong I would rent again but make sure what my actual bill isCeleste R.
